AmISam IAm: No problem :) I genuinely just like watching other reactors and was happy to find you. Our channel is nothing super special or unique -- we're just fellow BTS stans who started a channel because we had no local Army and wanted to make friends. Also I (Launa) was so absorbed in the theories I had a notebook that was basically a masters thesis on the story and I had to do something with it, lol! I was happy to find your channel because you seem very real, you're outside the represented Army demographic (masculine fanboys need more representation! :) ) and you seem to really think about what you see instead of watching for a quick reaction then forgetting. Plus you said your girlfriend is a Jin stan and as a fellow Jin bias we need more! :D Basically, thank you for existing and I'm glad I get to watch your reactions!

I feel the same way. I’ve never been so connected or attached to musician as much as BTS. They are truly an artist in my opinion to make people move in the heart and soul. They save me in a lot of way.

re: Bris & Peter - Some of Bris's followers suggested to him that he raise money to go to the AMAs because they knew he was in the city and thought it would be cool for him to live vlog it. - Bris puts out 3 videos at a time all the time, and he monetizes them. That's his process. So when it came to remembering Jonghyun, he followed his process and only realized later that he didn't mean to/shouldn't have monetized those and took it off. - Peter's entire problem is that Bris is new to the kpop world but his channel is wildly popular. He likes to tell himself that all new ARMYs are just faking it to get views. Quite frankly, I think it's insulting to BTS to imply that the new fans they've gotten aren't genuine. - He's gone after several other people on the same issue and it always boils down to "I'm a real kpop fan and you're new therefore you're not, so how dare you have a more successful channel than me." - But the thing is, the appeal of Bris's channel (and yours) is watching someone brand new to the genre falling in love with kpop like we all did. But Peter wants to dictate who is and who isn't "real fans" and he's salty because he's been there longer and hasn't managed to generate a viewerbase like the people he goes after. - Peter's also been deleting all the comments who disagreed with him. Basically, people told him to stop being a hater and a negative person going after other people who are minding their own business. Maybe listen to Mic Drop again and listen to what RM has to say to haters. - I think Peter was entirely in the wrong on this issue. The one thing I think was unnecessary on Bris's part was to tell people to go to Peter's channel and flag it for cyberbullying. Mind you, I agree that it WAS cyberbullying - he called out Bris by name, used his picture, and spent 15 minutes making up stories about him. But if I were in Bris's place, I'd have laid out the facts and let it be without telling other people what to do about it. This is the internet, and people will react how they feel is appropriate anyway.

Thanks for sharing your history. By the way Im a grown man too and I have never seen any bands or artists from 80s - now that communicates with their fans like this, this is another level of communication and once you look up the theories it is another level of understanding of the art that they are presenting to us. BTS is like a wild ride that you are not in control, they can make you laugh, cry, angry and all sort of feelings, its like having a relationship with the band and the art that they are presenting.

That's why we love BTS so much...they tell our stories and share it to the world with the most beautiful way.I want to point at something in the wings serie when j-hope took that chocolate bar then smiled at the pic on the wall seeing a mother with her child he ate it then smiled (that specific smile) cuz when his mom left him at the parc she gave him a chocolate bar and told him to count than abandoned him so that candy bar means a lot in that video from wings

Thank you so much for the reaction Sam! You're so genuine and honest, I really like that. This is the beauty of BTS, their beautiful and meaningful music and concepts, and their incredible work is on another level. I've never seen anything like this before. I love their use of short films. Viewers really have to pay attention to visual details and like you said yourself it really gives room to leave the interpretation up to the individual viewer. I don't know if there is an exact answer to it all. But viewers will definitely FEEL a part of the message trying to come across in their own way and I think it's brilliant. BTS touches a lot of topic like mental illness, addictions, self hate ect. and a lot of us can relate to these topics. This is one of the reasons why I love them. I also think that is why ARMYs are very diverse in age etc. There are a lot of theories about the highlight reels. They're connected to the HYYH trilogy as well as the Wings era and the short film etc. They are also connected to the pics/posters and the diaries on BTS' instagram, I think you can find them translated either on KZbin or just google it. The Y.K. on the lighter stands for YoonKi which is another way of romanizing YoonGi (Suga's real name) from hangul (Korean). Jungkook recognized it. The lighter can also mean death, because of the white lighter myth: it's based on the death of Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrex, Janis Joplin, and Kurt Cobain. A white lighter was found in their belongings when they were found dead. (all throughout the series (mainly HYYH) we have seen a lot of hints connected to Kurt Cobain and Nirvana). The bus stop where V did some grafiti and where RM got off the bus, it has the words "I'm Fine" written on it, but it's an ambigram and therefore has another meaning when viewed from a different perspective. Turn it around and it becomes "Save Me". It's actually used for suicide-prevention ads. I'm not sure which theories are the best. But Justt Ally is pretty good, and Dream Yume Entertainment is also good. Your story about your biological dad made me cry, I'm so sorry you had to experience that, and twice?! It's their loss! You're an amazing person and I'm sure you'll be a wonderful dad Sam!

Them dadfeels though. Not too long ago a stepsister of mine was telling me how great of a dad MY father always was to HER before he died. Which I guess she meant to share good memories or whatever, and I wish I could say I felt happy about it, but (I mean, yay for her I guess but also...) it just made me angry and had me crying for two days. What was special about her - who he wasn't even related to - that he could be a great dad to her, but me, his actual daughter, he would never even call or see how I was doing or show up. Once when I was in my teens, he sent me a Christmas card out of nowhere. Christmas is 3 weeks after my birthday, which he never acknowledged, and I don't even celebrate Christmas. Wtf, Dad? Yeah. TL;DR no need to apologize for your feels, bruh. Dad emotions can strike at any time without warning.

Don't react to the Japanese versions they are tough here they will strike and remove but, they are all very much connected to the entire story so look closely at them. Pay attention to all the flowers. First thought "Oh Sh*t he's gunna cry". LOL I feel your pain my Dad left me when I was 13 and needed him most and he never looked back and had 4 other children, left my Mom high and dry too. First time I saw that scene at the carasoul I lost it too. Anyway the Love Yourself series of EP's begins with the Reels followed by HER; we have 3 more EP's coming to complete this series. BTS makes you FEEL, THINK, DREAM and SUCCEED as important humans on this earth., we bring out the best in them and they bring the best from us and how we are connected like no other artists/fans before! Now you are beginning to understand the strength of BTS&ARMY as one, we are them, they are us, together we conquer the world. Sounds dramatic but it is a true phenomenon and fact. Look how they make you feel.... everything...awake...alive...inspired correct?

Y^Y Also a little personal here: however, I understand you about a father not being there....especially when your father left your mom with 2 kids (me being the middle child) and one coming along the way. I was very little and remember little bit of him. but my memories...cover his face in black smoke...I don't know how he looks like, but I'm glad I don't recognize him. I'm always grateful for my mom and being a single parent is not easy, but for all the hard work she has done for us, she makes sure we don't have anything left out and were happy with just her. I'm very very grateful. but I always wonder if my father had another family and ever thinks about us? But I always put it behind me (but then comes back, it like that thought comes back and forth). this just makes me want to be a successful person and make my mom's life much better in the future.

the theory that a lot of people talk about (and the one i believe in too) is this one: in ALL the story (since the RUN and I NEED U era)there are "couples": jungkook and yoongi (suga) (the initials Y.K stand for YOONGI-KOOKIE (is a username for jungkook)), namjoon and taehyung (V), and jimin & hoseok (jhope), jin is like the main character of all of this the girls aren't real, they just represent the other person (the girl with yoongi represents jungkook and the girl with jungkook represents yoongi) (the girl with tae represents namjoon and like that with all the couples) that is the base of the theory and there are a lot of videos about this theory, you just have to find a good one that knows how to explain it and includes every detail, i really believe this one because it makes so much sence to me, i'll wait for your next video;) (sorry for REALLY bad english)

I have never been able to watch that highlight reel without crying, just like you, it hits me so hard in so many different ways. Thank you so much for sharing your story, which also made me burst into tears, I am so sorry. All I wanted to do was give u a hug. I think what u said towards the end is completely correct, that yes is may be frustrating that they haven't released anything concrete on the exact storyline and what it all means, but that means that you can interpret and relate to it in your own way. And I think that is so special, and these videos and songs mean so much to me, and I'm sure to anyone else who watches or listens to them. If u haven't already, react to the Suga's Confession video, its a fan made theory video, and its so beautiful (but warning, it is very sad). Also if again if u haven't, react (or just watch on ur own time) to their song Sea - watch the lyrical version. It's a hidden track on their LY album, and at the moment is my favourite song by them - because the lyrics hit so hard, and mean so much to me. At this point, BTS can do what they want. They can be actor, MC, Solo artist, producer, director, etc but they still decide to do music together. They are really THAT TALENTED. I'm really glad that Bighit never push them to do other things. They just let BTS decide what they want. I think they just want to do other things slowly. Doing music together is still in priority but it never hurt for them to branch to solo stuff as long as they keep on producing high quality content like this.

Yeah, BTS really touch people... They're special. Its perfectly okay to get emotional. BTS and their music help me work through past trauma and get through new challenges that pop up in day to day life, which is a big part of why I love them so much. Don't ever be ashamed of getting emotional, they've made us cry countless times, we know how it is lol. At the same time, if there is anything you're reacting to that ever just gets too much, it's okay to take a step back or to even stop altogether and not continue that particular reaction. Your health and wellbeing come first, keep that in mind

BTS has made me cry so many times, but you're the first BTS reactor that's made me cry...thanks for posting this even though I'm sure it's difficult to be this open to a bunch of strangers. (I'm editing this from time to time bc damn after watching Highlight Reels and the individual short films it's making more sense and I keep finding related stuffs) - I commented this 1 hour ago but I just finished editing at 6:10 pm, ayeee fam. First of all, I can relate... My father left me too when I was a kid. So, I'm here again fam to spill and spoil some theories. Highlight Reel '起承轉結' (are Chinese words, I'm not Chinese so I searched it) 起 or qi means to rise; to go up; to move up or to stand up; to rise or to break out; to grow or to start; to begin;to become; to take or to initiate; to instigate; to trigger off or to prepare; to draw up; to come up with 承 or cheng means to undertake; to assume (responsibility etc) or to promise; to undertake to do something commitment 轉 or zhuǎn means to turn; to change direction; to transfer; to forward 結 or jié means outcome; result;conclusion; in the end; as a result Then, “highlight reel” means fantasy, dream, wish, phantasm... At first, there is Jin who takes the speech “Some moments become more vivid with the passage of time. Yesterday’s many encounters and goodbyes existed for this moment. Every alley and crossroad I walk through were all meant to lead me to this very place. That kind of moment is what I mean.” So, we have to look this video being aware that destiny is the center of everything. It means that all actions we do, all choices we make, all meeting we can have in one day is due to Destiny. Everything is premeditated. Big Hit said that the second highlight reel of 'Love Yourself' portrays all the seven boys with personal scars. They are acting a 'false self' because they aren't confident that people will love their true self, their real identity. They are happy and scared at the same time. 'False self' is an artificial persona that people create very early in life to protect themselves from re-experiencing developmental trauma, shock and stress in close relationships. This false or 'public' self appears polite and well-mannered, and puts on a "show of being real." Internally, they feel empty, dead or "phoney," unable to be spontaneous and alive, and to show their true self in any part of their lives. Omg omg omg, so many things are happening inside my mind! So all of this happened after I Need U +19 MV, I've noticed that after I Need U they parted ways and tried to live their life on their own. Let's break this in pieces. Jungkook was hospitalized because he was hitted by a car on I Need U. He met this girl at the hospital, remember he was drawing when the girl was sitting next to her? (Ohh, you remember do you? Now remember his drawing on his song Begin. Mindblown~) then the girl pulled one of his earphones and he noticed a girl playing a guitar. He saw the lighter with Y.K (Suga's lighter) then he thought of his hyung. Y.K. idk but I think because in Korea letter G is pronounced as K, for example Gangnam, Korean pronounce it as Kangnam. So Min Yoon Gi? Min Yoon Ki? Hmm, just what I've thought. (Oh yeah, remember I told you they're paired up on Blood Sweat and Tears right? Same here at Highlight Reels. JK and SG, JH and JM, V and RM and Jin who's lost and confused) V was hiding from the police because of his crime. He thought of RM and I think he misses him, now the things that he and RM does he do it with the girl.. He's still a bad guy at the streets vandalizing property and running when police are approaching but then he got caught by the police and boom Stigma by V. (I want to add when V was being interrogated on Stigma he said 'Can I make a phone call? Wtf, then I watched RM's Reflection short film and a phone rang RM ran to answer but there were chaines around it? Somebody stop me!!! Choke me!!!) J-hope and Jimin seemed to like one girl and if you noticed Jimin and that girl got hurt Jimin was alone and J-hope chose to save the girl ending their friendship. That's why Jimin was burning a picture of their friendship while he was on the bathtub. He suicidal maybe because he is in pain losing his friend and also because of the girl who he didn't loved her back. J-hope was also suicidal because he lost the girl that he loves, he started taking drugs maybe because it's hard for him to live. Suga was holding a lighter on I Need U maybe that's the lighter from his 'girlfriend' based on Suga's line on I Need U "Because of you, I’m becoming ruined I wanna stop, I don’t want you anymore I can’t do it, this sucks please don’t give me any excuses" remember the scene where they were fighting? Maybe that's the back story. Still lost but, that's what I thought. (And also I want to added that scene on Short film #3 First Love of Yoongi, remember he was playing JK's song Begin on the piano? And then suddenly JK started to whistle his song Begin? He ended up looking for him on the road. Then he saw a car crashing towards him, there's blood but Suga's not dead. It must've been JK's blood!!! Omg, I can't with these theories and videos, chillssssss) RM was observing a girl from a distance and this is his line on I Need U "It goes round & round, why do I keep coming back I go down & down, at this point, I’m just a fool whatever I do, I can’t help it, it’s definitely my heart, my feelings but why don’t they listen to me I’m just talking to myself again (talking to myself again) I’m just talking to myself again (talking to myself again) you’re not saying anything, please, I’ll treat you well but the sky is blue (the sky is blue)" MAYBE BECAUSE HE DOESN'T WANT TO FALL INLOVE? But he keep bumping to this girl who doesn't even notice him or look at him so he fell but confused because he wants her but he can't have her? Like 'so close but yet so far'? Idk fam, I'm trying to solve RM's by connecting Highlight Reels and I Need U. Oh, and I'm sure he's working on a gasoline station too like his role on I Need U (you will get this if you watch it in order, I Need U 19+, Prologue, Blood Sweat and Tears Japanese version, RUN MV then lastly Highlight Reels bc it makes more sense, I swear) Jin, I'm confused on his role.. I feel like I know and I get him but at the same time I don't know if I'm right. Yeah, when he was driving on Highlight Reels and the scene was blurry I thought he was the one who hitted Jungkook with a car. But then there was a scene where he was meeting this girl and got hit? So, I don't know if he's the one who did that to JK and then flashbacks started to happen. Jin narrated "If we could turn back the clock, where should we go back to? Once we reach that place can all our mistakes and errors be undone? Will happiness br ours to stay?" It seemed like Jin was reflecting to what happened to their friendship and their lives. That he wish everyone didn't choice this kind of path. (Just wanted to add Jin's Short Film Awake, remember the photos he took from a polaroid? It seems like even tho Jin's not with them he's watching from a far. Some theories says that Jin was dead on I Need U, and in Blood Sweat and Tears Japanese version he's just a soul watching he's brothers deal with temptation) If you watch Blood Sweat and Tears Japanese version, Jin and V was fighting. I discovered this boys around Feb 2017, and there are something about the mv/songs and even the highlight reels that is just so beautiful and artistic. Even though I listen to other kpop groups. This was my reaction too. I'm still confused. The connection is real. There are artist that you connect to but then it kind of disintegrates, but with BTS they always make it stronger. I feel you about the whole biological thing. I'm adopted and so both of my parents left me in foster care. Luckily I have my mom and grandma and siblings.

sorry my comment is long, i barely ever bother explaining my own thoughts on the complex bts stuff but i really like your attitude and videos so i just got it all out now, lol :p i remember when all we had to work with was i need u the prologue and run, and i felt this way then i still feel it now, probably more than ever: armys look too deeply for a cohesive storyline. the boys connect the different eras through similar symbolism, but they're not portraying a single narrative with a tweaked image for each era, they're exploring a theme in each era using their same, but tweaked, characters. they do it very creatively and put a lot of different things into it that encourage the dissecting, like the way they draw inspiration from movies/books/etc. but ultimately, in my opinion, hyyh, wings, love yourself...they are different eras, the videos within them represent different things, but they bring back certain elements each time which is cool but ultimately confusing. it's my only complaint of bts lol, but i think it's more bighit's strategy than their own since the company obviously recognises that the fan theories are a thing that gets people attached to bts. things seem less confusing in my opinion when you view things in a single era and theorise them separately, keeping in mind what bts themselves has said about them. my favourite thing ever that has stayed in my head for so long, is namjoon saying in the behind the scenes of run that "if i need u is happiness in sadness, run is sadness within happiness" or something to that effect anyways, in case you didn't notice it (and i haven't read all the comments to see if someone else brought it up), but something to know about this is that jin is basically time travelling, trying to get a good timeline with a good outcome, but clearly shit ain't going well. i haven't heard a lot about it, but i'm pretty sure they're filming a drama or something which this is for?? can't wait honestly. 2018 is gonna be WILD for armys. and don't apologize for having emotional reactions to things, it's fine

Here's what I think about the youtuber situation. This guy Peter likes to post videos now and then trashing other youtube Kpop reactors. He's done videos attacking Couple Reacts, Georgina, JRE, Josh Dove, Cameron Philip, Meddyson and several others. He always goes after relatively successful reactors with bigger followings than his. He's been called out on it and even made an apology vid crying once (very badly). But he keeps doing it over and over again. He complains that newer reactors don't know the groups names yet. He calls people racist for not understanding Korean culture or being able to tell members apart. He's called ARMY "stupid", "gullible" etc. He tries to start fanwars between EXO-Ls and ARMY too. I watched him a few times early on but he really talks down to his subscribers and it made me unsubscribe before the drama happened the first time. Today he really ticked me off. He did a whole response video to Bris in a sarcastic, gross and racist asian accent (he's Australian I think) and I saw one of his commenters posted "Black Guy Dies" and the dude gave him a

Yes...In my opinion I don't think there isn't a clear message/theories in their short film and their highlight reel...I think these are some situation they created that can relate to everyone in reality. I have to admit that I cried in these Highlight Reel :( especially in JHope's part! But I love that its also related to you or many other out there...and understand what this boy band trying to tell us all the different stories be hide the close door!
