im aware i slipped up a few time and said clan etc. in this video! the things have changed, but obviously I've only changed them today so even I'm getting used to them! so please bare with me while i get used to the new terms I'm using :)

i changed mine from the warriors univeres to! I kept to part names but now you can add a prefix or a suffix and i got rid of kit and paw. For ex when cow becomes a warrior he can become cowspring or tinycow! Im thinking of changing clan to colony and making some other changes. And instead of founders there are gods and goddesses and cats who tell there stories!

It’s the same for me. One of my fav OC’s from Divided Colonies (my story) Red’snow, go from.. Kitten: Red Novice: Red Gatherer: Red’snow Combatant: Red’snow And If she becomes a vice (deputy) and Commander (leader) itll still be Redsnow If you wanna hear more I may upload a video about it if anyone cares. You’ve inspired me to change my clans to colonies, Leaders to ambassadors, Deputy’s to consultents, medicine cats to Healers, and medicine apprentices to healer’s aids! I’ve also given my colonies some traditions and changed the name system too!

Need some help here haha. I’m making my own Warriors au, similar to what you’re doing, and I’m wondering what to do about the names. I like the prefix/suffix names that Warriors have but I’m aware of how it has a racist history, but I don’t want to use the one word names. Any other naming scheme ideas that I could use?

if I knew of other naming systems I would have used them but I think we all need to just stick to one word naming which is also what the doc itself suggests

I finally took a look at the document (as this is the first place I've found a link to it) and went to go and change all of my folders to write healers instead of medicine cats and discovered I've apparently already done that haha

I like everything about the changes!! But would it make me a bad person if I wanted to keep specifically for my characters and clans how they are? Or would that inflict that I’m racist or something like that? Or should I just change everything?

I personally changed things because native/indigenous people have spoken out and asked people in the warriors community to respect that these aspects of the serious are offensive/incorrect/etc and would like us to change them :) so I'd advice everyone to respect that and change things too which is why I did so!

I'm thinking something, I would be racist if I kept some things from the original WC? Like, in my au we still use the term of clans and suffixes and prefixes, but I changed some names like deputy being vice/representative, medicine cat being healer, etc. Like, I like the suffix thing but I think I'm being racist, could that be considered racist?

I just came across this video and while I really enjoy your new story, Im not quite sure how i feel about expecting and nursing AFAB cats being called bearers, imo it feels a bit weird?
