As a Diné language and culture teacher, I want to say "Ahéhee," for sharing. I hope to learn more more about my northern cousins through this venue. As USA finds more ways towards destruction, I hope we can all communicate and connect again. Thank You.

This is the man I would want as my teacher! A basic class of a local Aboriginal language should be taught in every grade, not that students would become fluent, but just to help them understand the language that existed here before colonization and to learn to respect the culture. (I am European Canadian BTW)

I’ve learned more in one hour than if I was being taught to just repeat words. Your teaching style is amazing.. now to find part two.

when we find ourselves through language, we find our ancestors world view and belief system resulting us understanding our entire culture, thus identity. I've been to his classes twice. He's a great teacher. Loved him and his style of teaching very much.

@@lancemorin3967 The whole world deserves to know the languages of Turtle Island. It's frustrating how little Canada lets out about the existence of life before the settlers (such as myself), and they only assume dream catchers and tobacco came from white North Americans such as myself. I've tried explaining when I was in the Philippines (a country previously colonized by America, & an old US territory), and they had absolutely no idea whatsoever.

its interesting american indians have tribes. and the bible mentions the twelve tribes of isreal. and the scribes or the word scribal seems like a version of tribe. the ending on these are ibe. and the bible translation uses the word tent in revelation 21:3,4. and of course in the bible they used a lot of tents. people dwelled in tents alot in the bible.
