This was just the beginning of an era that not only defined the stature of Amitabh Bachchan but also of Bollywood. He then became the angry young man of Bollywood with films like Zanjeer and Deewar. He proved he can crack people up with Amar Akbar Anthony. He charmed his audiences with Don and that is only the beginning few years of his career.
Amitabh Bachchan was unstoppable. Even after fifty, he did blockbuster films like Mohabbatien, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Cheeni Kum that became iconic films in Bollywood. He’s got innumerable memorable dialogues to his name, many blockbuster songs, even more iconic scenes and the strongest grip on millions of hearts a superstar has ever had.
