Actually, Jaya-Amitabh pair are opposite in nature. Where Amitabh is humble and down to earth, Jaya is short temper and adamant oriented. While making ' Guddi' Jaya had stayed in her God father Hrishida's Bungalow at Carter Road where she spent many year before marriage in 1973. But unfortunately, she didn't learn calmness, coolness and soberness from Hrishikesh Mukherjee, a perfect gentleman and kind hearted personality. Very surprising matter!

Depends on the context. Yes, we Bengalis call it "Bangla" but I feel it's ok if Hindi-speakers call it "Bangalee" like Mr. Bachchan here. There was no official recognition of Bengali or Bangla before the British, like most vernacular indian languages there was also probably no standardized structure available for masses. So even if the language is called bangla i prefer to call the language by its standard english name - Bengali when speaking with non Bengali speakers. Its a form of recognition of that important part of history and role of British rule in india in giving recognition and voice to many people who would not have been heard otherwise, including you and your bangla. And I am sure the country of Bangladesh would not have seen birth and if you are from there then you would not have been on internet expressing your opinion. So, i do not think there is any point to argue here. You can live with your bangla ,i am happy with bengali and those who prefer to call it Bangali are good for me too.
