Good content, but it would be even better if you put some special sound effects when changing from one story to the other, because i listen to those in headphones while doing something else, so it could help keeping attention

Only time I was in that type of position was when my child got appendicitis and had her appendix removed. My parents were out of town for the week so I needed to stay home with her after the operation( lived with parents at the time). So I told my boss I needed off for the rest of the week to care for her(6 at the time). He said if I took off he would fire me. I said fine and left. I took care of my child that week and most of the next week and my parents watched her for a couple of hours every day while I went to find another job. By Friday of that week the main boss called and asked why I hadn’t been to work or called or anything. I told him my direct boss said I was fired if I took off to care for my child so I thought I was fired. He told me to be back on Monday and he gave me a two dollar/hour raise. Turns out I was only person who knew how to do the daily resting required by the place I worked and they had gotten fined for not doing it. I got a raise, got to keep a job I loved, ended up getting along with my direct boss and he had to personally and in writing apologize for his action. Worked there for another 6 years until I found another business willing to pay 25% higher than what they paying me by then.

If this was in the States, and you'd worked there for a year or longer, you would have been covered by FMLA (family medical leave act). Other boss is probably super grateful you didn't sue them.

@@s.h.6858 If it was in Germany, even if you worked there for a day, you automatically get sick leave for your child being sick. And sick leave here is for however long it takes, although if you need more than a certain amount of weeks (6 if I remember correctly) the health insurance is the one paying your salary and they pay like 60%.

For anyone who is allergic to cats: Feed all your cats at least one egg a day that was layed by a hen that lives with cats. You can ask around & find a farmer with chickens & cats that hang out together & buy direct from them. Or if you'd rather, they do make allergen prevention cat food that you can feed to your cat & prevent your allergic reactions.

The larger parrots tend to be long lived. As long or nearly as long as a human. Like cats, they will bond with whom they choose to bond with. You don't get much choice in the matter. Like dogs, they can get very protective. Like kuds, they can get very jelous.

Blessings of the Phoenix be upon the final OP. As a former member of Crystal Groves, I miss the hobby, but I have a family now and hope to get back to it one day. My parents were afraid I would find a husband there so my mom stopped taking me every Sunday to the park in Hagerstown. Back when it was still there. My parents made the right choice to pull me out. I probably would have ended up with a not so good husband. As I feel I found my soulmate, and have 4 beautiful children with him.

It gives me some small Comfort to know that in the vast majority of the stories the right decision in my mind was taken. As for my own story, I had an aunt who lived with us for most of my childhood. As I and my Sister were approaching the age of majority and getting ready to move out, mom suggested to Aunt that she should look into getting her own place so they could both enjoy empty nesting. Aunt lost her crap and insisted my father, then deceased, promised her she'd always have a home there. Mom knew nothing of this. Aunt did move out, and when they did, I told both parties not to try to drop ultimatums with me, or I would side with the one who did not try that. My Aunt eventually made arrangements to sue my mother for a portion of her home's value, enough that there was no way Mom could have paid it without selling the house. One day, I get a formal letter from Auntie's lawyer saying they want me as a witness to how much my aunt helped around the house, assistance with renovations, etc etc. I told her about the promise I made to her and my mother about this, and considered being drawn into the suit a form of ultimatum, therefore I would not be cooperating unless legally forced to, and would present myself as a hostile witness. They never called me, mom had to settle out of court because Auntie's lawyer only got paid when she won, so would drag this out for as long as possible, and I have no contact with her. The two most unhinged parts of all this are ONE: I had had to move back home briefly due to some difficulties, and my aunt didn't see me ~living in the house that would have had to have been sold if she won her case~ as an obstacle to me helping her, And TWO: She used the money to try and move back to montreal, and wondered why her other two sisters wouldn't want anything to do with her after she had sued her other sister, my mother.

A lot of the time, even if the ultimatum is about something "trivial", the fact they'd put their partner in that situation is red flag enough to get dumped

My gf was spending some Saturdays at her ex bf's parent's place, visiting his parents and kid brothers, whom she watched grow up. I get it, they became close. I wasn't saying it's them or me, but I suggested I'm not happy with her going there catching up with all the gossip on her ex and his new gf. So she told me not to make her choose because I might not like her choice. I'd been starting to fall for her, and while I didn't react too rashly right then, at that moment a wall went up and I stopped falling for her or caring for the relationship. (I'd been gaslit and cheated on before, so it was like a defense mechanism) - She ended up falling in love with me and I could have cared less....so kind of a reverse 'them or me"

I was in an online RP community from when I was 16, just shy of turning 17, to when I was 19. It’s a community I should have never been a part of, but that’s not really part of this story. I had two friends in this community, whom I’ll call C and A. C was the first person I met in this community. From there, I met several other people in the sphere, including A. A grew to really hate C for basically no reason, so much that A would rage at me and start making threats, mainly of quitting RP-ing and suicide, if I so much as said C’s name in passing. This was rather transparently an attempt to force me to choose her or C, but I don’t choose one friend over another, so I spent the next few months walking on eggshells, trying to get A to get along with C (C didn’t hate A. In fact, she wanted to be friends with A, despite how badly she treated her). This would temporarily work out… until it didn’t, and A went back to doing just about everything shy of doxxing C and telling her fans to remake Daisy’s Destruction on her. Around late December of 2019, she basically said the quiet part loud, demanding I cut C off if I wanted to stay friends with her.

Basically, if your partner asks you to give up your favorite hobby without a good reason, such as a child or a physical disability, then this relationship is not worth it. The person does not love you, they love the person you could be if you were improved.

I live in a apartment for people who with different kinds of situations who need some sort of daily help, in my case its mild autism, loong story still loong beacouse of that autism, certain teachers in all schools i went to, had zero belief in me, and there was alot of things school simply did not prepare me for, when it was time to get a job, no one wanted a autistic person with zero work training, so instead i was pretty much forced into a *alternative workplace* basically a place for people who for one reason or another, has very little chance of being able to get a proper, actual job, its basically a kindergarten for grown ups with problems, the *work* you do there is chop, and arrange wood, create stuff ((paintings,easter eggs and other stuff)) socially together then sell it. Not a single one of the people working there, got along with eacother, beacouse if the kind of people that was *hired* it was years of me despising the place and litterally sleeping days away, waiting to get back to my apartment, i finally had enough, quit, wich alot of friends and family where against, saying *its so good for you to have place to go to and socialize* the few people working there who COULD socialize, was either, on the level of spoiled 5 year olds, people with excessive anger issues, a drugg addict who did absolutely nothing but complain, and spreading negative rumors about everybody, and the people ACTUALLY working there who got paid to make sure we didnt get violent with eacother. These days, while i dont have a job to go to, ((zero job training/experience)) i spend my days trying to get in good physical AND mental shape. Or hang out with friends and family.

The way I see it, spiritual/religious compatibility is up there among the most important factors for a healthy and stable relationship.. if you can’t agree on religious beliefs, you’re going to conduct your lives differently, leading to friction. Christians are actually not supposed to begin romantic relationships with unbelievers, although if someone becomes a Christian after they’re already married an unbeliever, and the unbelieving spouse consent to stay, the Christian is allowed to stay unless the other abandon them, in which case they’re not bound. And forgiveness is found in Christ, he chased life is expected for us. See first Corinthians 6-7 and Second Corinthians 6-7.

Why is the guy Australian during the cockatoo story
@EmissaryCreates4 ай бұрын
He just does goofy accents depending on the person’s nationality in the video if it’s specified. For example, someone said they were from Russia in their story, and the narrator imitated a Russian accent until the next story. It just seems to be a thing he does.

Honestly I dislike cats and that's a deal-breaker. I AM allergic, but besides that it's just the hair everywhere, the dead birds & mice it brings home, they walk on your kitchen counters, etc. I can't be dealing with that filth. Most people I know with cats, don't have very clean homes. Dogs are kinda similar I suppose, but it's hard not to love a dog whose so happy to see you when you get home.
