between latitudes of 35 degree and 40 degree i think it is the easterly which results in rainfall at east and at higher latitude it is esterly which makes rainfall on west.You have given westerly as the reason for both cases Please correct if i am wrong.

At latitude 35 to 40 degree north & south westerlies flow means they will drop rain at east coast and at 45 to 60 degree north & south also westerlies flow they drop rain in west as explained by you sir and written in book , so how can a same wind depending only on direction of flow show two distinctive characteristics

The part about Sublimation, Isn’t Sublimation conversion of solid directly to gas and Deposition, being the reverse ? So the term sublimation used here was supposed to be Deposition. Either there is a mistake on part of NCERT or maybe the word Sublimation can be used for both these phenomena.

i have a doubt - you said that atmospheric pressure decreases with height and you also said that low temperature means high pressure then with increase in height atmospheric pressure should increase because temperature decreases with height ?????? please clear this doubt.....
@royalera5126 жыл бұрын
Bro Density also has a role to play..... With a increasing height gases , particulate matter , and dust ect... also decreases with a increasing height. And other reason is Flow of winds examples... Trade winds, westerly and easterly and local wind also has a role. At with a increasing height u wont get this phenomenon there.
@Rohitgupta09086 жыл бұрын
ohkay means cold temperature means low pressure is right and simuntaneously it is also right that atmospheric pressure decreases with height. ++ Thanks Royal Era
@latatiwari10976 жыл бұрын
It is because of the gravity .At higher elevation the gravity is slightly less than the surface will results in less pulling of atmospheric air to the surface of the earth in higher elevation and hence it creates low pressure area.
