I detest Raid's insistance on having cost attached to changing gear. I want to change teams and gear for this, but the cost is just too darn high, especially during a fusion when I know artifact enhancement is coming up. It's so frustrating that they never got rid of this stupid idea.

I’m just not of fan of restricting champs for the final boss. All these years we’ve been building rosters and it feels like I only just started because of the lack of options 😂 the strats are limited and boring. Cool boss tho, just don’t see myself completely changing all my gear every time different champs are required to beat him

Actually, it doesn't matter which form he is in. It only matters if he has the Eclipse buff on. If you kill him with the Eclipse buff on, he revives.

@iandevaney3343 in my experience, yes. He pretty much stayed in that form for 20 minutes straight. Not sure what I was doing wrong, but I eventually killed him in blood moon mode without the eclipse buff on.

Oh man that’s terrible! He only stays in eclipse mode for 3 turns for me. Then goes back to his normal form.

Thanks a ton for this video! I watched other content creators to get help on this, but they all rely on S+-tier gear with crazy stats which I'm nowhere near able to achieve on my account. This comp works well, once you detail the mechanics and realize you only need Heal reduction in the main phase.

One thing you forgot about Lydia is her A3 when you can use debuffs, yes it is a lock out skill for normal enemies, but also has poison sensitivity that will allow you to deal some more damage with Venomage.

Thanks for doing this and the guide on the website. Unfortunately i did this the hardway before the guide, and i would say that you need to stress more that the way you play it (a1 tank vs. aoe) is ONLY if you have 5star+ ascension on the tank - in your case venom mage. Had 3 stars, and i could in know way do that. I found it much easier to entice him with a small buff (incr. speed) which he then converted and aoe nuked me. Less debuffs, less damage, so just one buff.

After killing the boss i would give my impressions of this new map : 1- the boss itself is boring and frustrated to fight is not an enjoyable experience the only good thing is that is only one kill per month. 2- the fact that they put the sand devil to block almost the whole soulcross is stupid they promoted the mal as “u can choose ur own path” but u will find ur self in a dead end with the sand devil 3-the lack of books as rewards is stupid they making us to expand our roster and to use more legendaries but they are not giving us a way to get ourself more books atleast 1 book of each rarity could be awsome. 4- the lack of eternal soulstones, the fact that after a year or more of been released is unbelievable that the only way to get them is through real money. 5- and last, i get that is interesting to make us use more champions but for a f2p like me the silver becomes in ever more issue having to reuse gears from champions to champions and getting out of silver so quickly without a real way to get it back ( seems like the real world economy xD) thats it, could also give my good points of view on it.

Great content, I have all these champs, but multiple attempts failed, getting the abilities on cooldown (your champs) seems to be the key. Wishing for an all auto team using Valk/Martyr and ColdHeart (for constant heal reduction perhaps).

Yeah I have alot of these champs. Tried about 100 times no luck so far, not even close. 600 resistance doesn't stop it's abilities on normal and it just gets turn after turn after turn, stun/sleep me till I'm dead. Frusterating but I realize it's for the top tier guys not lowly players like myself.

Three star blessing on mythralla did the trick! That and getting into the groove. Regeared all champs to he a little faster, venom mage went up to 250 from 210 which helped, but key hero was the Brimstone chance being higher, great timing in the awakening store

Cool vid. Love the explanation of how you are able to do it. I can do hard doom tower hard fully on each rotation but no chance on Amius. I have pythion and Venomage and Mithrala but yeah.. my ascenions are not up there nor is there any way for me to get them up there this month. Bit of a drag but it's interesting to me the disparity between you big guys and the little guys like myself. Amius just destroys me if I don't put up buffs.. but if I do I get slept/stunned over and over until I am dead. Can imagine with 700 resistance on everyone it would be possible or whatever the ascenion does.. dislike the ascension limitation no matter your champs but I guess it's something for the big guys to be a 'limiting' factor. Fun game, not sure I care to work super hard for a few more years just to pump out stars to be able to beat a boss though.

Lydia's poison sensitivity debuff would help speed up the damage from Mithrala's poisons.

I think the problem there is the block buffs at transition becomes block debuffs which could lead to a spiral of bad.

I gotta callout JAREG for this boss, was able to keep me alive with ally protect, hp aura and has decrease atk and I didn't have blessings for venomage, 2 star on pythion, 3 star ukko and 1 star mithrala. Venomage was able to survive the one shot (barely lol).

Id rather force the A3 in form 2 as his A1 will just wipe out the low HP tank if you dont have high awakening or stars. A strat I did was force the A3 by having buffs up, cleanse, and then ally protect. I did this with 0 awakening on venomage. She would get 1 shot otherwise

depending on where you are in the game and what champs you have in the allowed factions it's not that bad. all i had to do for this month was giving my coldheart like 100 acc more the 4 other champs just stayed in their hydra/arena builds

So yeah, I'm not wasting my time regearing every month, I'll either do it or I won't, I've got better things to do than build mediocre champions or rebuild existing ones just to complete this mode

See a lot of people complaining about difficulty, but that's the point. This is supposed to be the "endest" of game content outside Plat arena. If you: Haven't beaten all 3 DT Hard rotations Haven't beaten FW Haven't beaten lvl 15+ of the new bosses (Twins, Sand, Phantom) In short, beaten the game... Then this content is not for you.

Didn't realize until about a dozen runs in that his crit is 50% I keep getting blown out by that on the ignore defense attack. Also have to respec all my masteries to get rid of cycle of magic. Nice way for plarium to eat gems

Refresh type builds make all other content actually fun, the fact that this mechanic makes the boss damn near impossible to beat & the only way to beat him is to change the builds but the damn silver cost is stupid high. I have been a very active player for almost 2 years spent a good amount of money and this just makes me want to quit playing.. they took the funnest aspect of the game that allowed me to enjoy all content and turned it against me..

Show a team composition without blessings, many of us have none, but have the champions available. This fight is quite the bullshit, my stats are vey similar to every comp I've seen out there, yet incoming damage is ridiculous. It's seems so easy when you got 5-6 star blessings all around.

I’m not convinced it’s possible without blessings. His Venomage was being hit for ~9k per hit in phase 2 at 6 star blessing. My 1 star Venomage with similar health and defense is being hit for 80k per hit…..

It's a real shame that this boss isn't about strategy. It's pay2win locked due to arbitary champ restriction, awakenings. My account isn't close and I've spent £200 in y1, before I realism what the game was, then I've f2p for 2.5 more years. There's no way I get a coldheart or Venomage to 7000 def, in regen with 250 speed and 375 acc. (ps.I have all the 'op' champs but it's soul locked. @Hellhades, great video but can you try testing going lower with awakenings and see where the critical thresholds are?

I managed it with a six star awakened Mithrala, Coldheart, Pythion, King Gallcobar and Tuhanarak, but it was hairy, because there's a chance that Coldheart's heal reduction doesn't land. A couple of times too Brimstone killed the boss while he was in Eclipse, and that basically ruined the fight. Also, I had to change out Masteries, because that 5% cooldown Mastery ALWAYS kills you.

This video seems to only apply when those champs are avail. At this time the conditions are totally different. And only two champs here are easily attainable. Also, it seems if you don't have a bunch of ascensions, then don't even bother. RAID is a pay to win game, which is fine since it is their business to make money. I just won't pay anymore bc I find their RNG %s to be disgustingly wrong.
