Just wanted to pop down real quick and say that Stormcaller is prebis for prot paladins over the Gavel of Unearthed Secrets. Tanks generally favor faster attack speeds for smoother threat, and on top of that, prot paladins usually want to try to get a wep that is 2.0 speed or lower so you get the maximum benefit out of your reckoning procs. Said another way, reck gives its bonus for the next 4 attacks in 8 seconds, so you want to swing all 4 times in those 8 seconds. The benefits arent super crazy over the gavel (especially since reck is optional), but they are there. Also prot paladins should never pick up warbringer or honors call, spell power on your weapon is VERY valuable and you should not go without it

I would argue that grinding reputations for meaningful rewards is one of the best, most rewarding aspects of WoW. I mean even just the tabards! I'm just a huge fan of gear, both useful and cosmetic, locked behind meaningful grinds, it's the essence of RPGs

There are a few errors in the Honor Hold section. 1. The gun is for Alliance and bow is for the Horde. 2. The Arena season 1 Xbow isn’t even in the top 5 for hunters. 3. The only weapon better than the bow/gun is the Wrathtide bow from Steamvaults 4. Ebon Netherscale is not pre bis for hunters. Primalstrike is.

@@AmmeTV1 The arena crossbow is really strong for sure, but the speed is a little slow. If you're BM ideally you want a bow with 2.70 - 2.90 speed for a cleaner auto shot/steady shot rotation.

With some exceptions-Bear Druid's that don't value defense much, DPS that value Crit over Spell DMG (Fire mage), shadow priest that don't care for Crit. The shoulder enchants represent 0.002% ish difference. So, I'm mostly going to focus on pre-raid gear differences.

Does anyone know in Beta, if the Aldor/Scryer switch still awards a large amount of Sha'tar rep? What I mean is, if you want to be Aldor, go Scryer, and then do the chain to switch to Aldor. I remember it leveling your rep from Neutral to Honored.

Important to mention that Aldor or Scryers will change the trinkets in last phase, so dont focus on a blue should enchants, do it based on that trinkets!

I think the Aldor/Scryer part fell a bit short there in the end. You didn't mention the Spellthreads (Leg Enchants). Getting the Healing Enchant from Aldor and the DPS Enchant from Scryer makes Scryer even more interesting for casters. I think most casters will be tailors and most want to craft their own threads.. Will main a Shadow but pick Scryers though because of it.

Hey man! Don’t worry AT ALL, guess what, I ended up questing all the way to 70 without dungeons because it felt more fun to me! All you’re going to want to do now is run the appropriate dungeons for rep. So for example, you can run Shattered Halls normal at level 70 for your thrallmar/honor hold rep, steam vaults for your cenarion, stuff like that 🙂 the shatar rep comes from running tempest keep dungeons anyway and same with caverns of time! So you’re totally fine, you’ll get there easy, biggest thing to remember is just enjoy the game how you want to and you’ll be in heroics in no time 😄

Good question! Essentially all the quests in the zone. In some areas you'll have other factions like the Cenarion Expedition with a little outpost, so that will give Cenarion Rep, but most quests in Hellfire will give Thrallmar/Honor Hold rep, stuff like that :)

Yeah! You can quest before, but that’s the most efficient way, run the lower level dungeons while you’re leveling to honored, then do the quests in the zone, and then do the level 70 dungeon (Shattered Halls, Steam Vaults, those high level ones)

How much is the war hieroglyph flying mount at cenarion? Is it worth farming this to save 5000 gold?

Great question! So mounts and riding cost actually switch in TBC, so the base mounts are cheap (200g I’m pretty sure) and then the riding is whats gonna run you the thousands of gold. The war hippogryph is something like 2000 gold, so definitely not cheap. Both those prices are without any discount taken into consideration as well

You say that a cloth-item is a major upgrade for any healer, didnt classes lose some bonus if they were fx mail users not wearing mail in each slot? Kinda remember this being such a big drop that using gear not suited for class as cloth instead of mail, mail instead of plate etc. would destroy you character or did this come in WOTLK?

Good question! The ogri’la, shatari sky guard, and nether wing weren’t released until patch 2.1 (black temple patch) so it’s safe to say that we won’t see those reputations at launch. I wanted to just put in the reps at launch so that people wouldn’t be confused that they saw it in a guide and then it wasn’t in the game at the start :)

Depends on the class! Thrallmar/Honor Hold gun is far and away better for rogues while Mamas Insurance is better for warriors
