This is the first multi-media type kit that I've picked up. Most kits are just one type of paint, where this is acrylics, oils/enamels, and weathering pigments all put together with a book to show how to use them. The instructions assume undecorated models, but these can easily be used for factory painted stuff with just a few adjustments.

Can't wait to see. At $92 US.... I was not so sure I wanted to wast my time. Lets see and maybe I will buy a set.

I haven't priced this out yet to see how the box compares with the individual pieces, but the Solution Book that comes in the box is worth the price of admission.

Ooooh, I like how it comes with the brass toothpick instead of their usual circular metal palette the Solution boxes tend to have.

Wow that is a different kit from what I had thought it was much more complete. I have the Vallejo Rust and Chipping Effects, which I found was a great starter kit with good instruction. I also have their Rust Stain and Streaking but haven’t used it. Like you I already have some of the stuff, but it looks awesome and not a bad cost.

This looks cool. I wonder if it would be easier for us to see the techniques and results if you used a larger model for the demo, like HO scale? Looking forward to it.

If I had an undecorated HO Scale model. :) I'm working with what I have. I am thinking that when I do this, I will run it parallel to a factory-painted boxcar to show how the included materials could be used as well.

JC did you know the One Shot primer is actually Stynylrez by Badger? Very good selection of paints! Wished they had put this out 5 yrs ago, so I pretty much have all of what is included!

Well were doing ok tell looking at the instructions and everything is metric.... Not a single clue what those numbers are.
