I like how it’s multi use, even if you’re not detailing your car it’s still useful. Bathrooms get grimy and steam makes quick work that would otherwise be hours on your knees with chemicals and a brush.

Lol! My buddy and I were both wrong on the price of this steam extractor! He said," it's probably $1000 dollars" and I said, "well, whatever you think it's worth ,I think it will be priced three times that amount"! So with the price being $2000 dollars we were both wrong. I'm not going to deny that this is what I've been looking for for years. You can find commercial steam extractors but they are extremely expensive and bigger than this unit. So this does solve the problem of finding a small unit that would fit into a auto detailing arsenal. I only wish it was available several years ago as I'm retired now.

One tip I would like to give that has helped me alot with my steamer is once I'm done with a job I turn off the machine and hold down the trigger. This helps bleed the pressure and moisture that's in the hose. I use this method for 2 reasons and sometimes hit 2 birds with one stone if I'm done for the day and low on water. One reason I do this is if I need to fill up the machine again but dont want to wait for the pressure and heat to die down (kills time) before having to refill the reservoir. The other reason I do it is so that I clear out the hose so that next time when I go to steam on another job when I press the trigger no water is sitting in the hose which causes water to squirt out along with the steam. Hope this helps anyone who gives this method a try 👍

That’s actually cool. I wish I can try it before buying it because I’m sure it cost just as much as a beater car you can get for cheap .

You could save $1800 taping a steamer head to a wet vac/bissel spot clean pro. It’s $2000. It’s a neat idea and there doesn’t seem to be any other options on the market, but you’re just combing two $100 tools into one $2000 package. It’ll save you some time over going over things twice, so for high volume, professional detailers this could be worth it, but wait a year or two and Bissel will probably end up copying it for $250. They already have an upright steaming vacuum.

This is a cool device. I grew up in my families carpet mills in Eton GA and have quite bit of knowledge about carpet. How big is the size of the holding tank for the distilled water for the steamer? I do really like this machine.

The fact that you ask this tells me it's important. Obviously if it's on the small side, you'll have to keep refilling- how long does one tank last?

you can buy a seperate steamer, as well as shampooer for alot cheaper ! bissel makes a decent shampooer thats like 150 bucks even Ammo nyc would use in his detailing on the road videos. not sure how much steamers are though but i definitely want both !

Chief Steamers has better steamers than this or Ammo's dedicated steam machine and sells an attachment to use with your wet vac. You can easily spend less than $2000 and have a much better steamer at the same time.
