I have to second (or third) the statement of "it actually works". It really does. I used it a few times on a few cars of varying dirt levels this weekend. I would say that the keyword here is "maintenance". I like to think of this as a maintenance product. Before the car gets really dirty, use the FROTHe. If the car is super dirty, you need a proper wash. But, if you've been keeping up on maintenance cleanings with something like FROTHe and spray wax, you won't have to do as many major washes.

Easy as that. But what about spray waxing and buffing it after such a "light" wash like with Frothe or similar? Since you are buffing really hard, I am really afraid to wax unless I have properly cleaned the car.

amorbavian If you applied FROTHe and wiped off the dirt using the method Larry demonstrated in the video, you should be left with a clean surface that is free of contaminants. Follow it up with a protectant like Hydrate or a spray wax.

I just got a bottle of Frothe and the foam gun for my birthday. I used it on my Atlas Grey Metallic (almost black) Porsche 911 and it didn't leave a scratch. I followed-up each panel with the "old" Hydrate formula and, to my non-professional-detailer's-eye, it looks every bit as good as a full wash. Keep up the great work, Larry!

I used my frothe today for the first time. The idea of shaving cream really does come to mind. It's so smooth feeling on the paint. I didn't get to do my wheels as I feel they were a little too dirty to not wash properly. This is going to be huge to maintain my car though. I used a little more foam than maybe is normal on some spots to be safe but I made the double batch in the sprayer and used about half that on my 16 Camaro SS. Also this stuff smells like Flintstones vitamins lol! Overall I look forward to utilizing this kit a lot in the future. Thank you Larry for changing the game!

Love this. I gave my car a proper wash and used collinite, then for the rest of the month I go to the coin car washes and use the wand to wash to get rid of the bugs (they just slide off), use the pressure soap, spotless rinse, then use the waterless wash after. So I'll definitely be adding this so I can use during the week.

Where I clean cars this has been perfect. I have no access to water or electricity. I do very different process. I start with another waterless spray wash and then spray Frothe foam heavily over it, then use a microfiber sponge soaked with Frothe and then wipe off with Hydrate. Followed by a foam wax applied and wiped much like Frothe. Sometimes I need to do an all-in-one and found an awesome RBL Products cordless polisher for an unreal price new online, but honestly between Frothe and the new spray and foam waxes I honestly almost never need the electric polisher. Ryobi makes a fantastic wet/dry vacuum that is cordless. Thank you Larry for making such awesome products.

I came back to this after thinking of a problem I have, my workshop does not have a paved pathway and my track and race cars are frequently towed in at the end of their season, the end of the season also corresponds with freezing temperatures and precipitation, I'll have to give this a try to clean up and prep the cars so they're clean during winter storage and maybe do some cleaning and correction steps while waiting on parts and materials instead of trying to cram it all in during season prep.

Nice one. I knew this would come up soon. It's so obvious that nothing beats a WATER wash (hose/2 bucket method etc.). By the way, using ONLY the Frothe and towels to wash the car isn't exactly an easy task. It needs to be done properly like how you do it, in order to avoid scratches.
@robertosticca5973 жыл бұрын
Can you use it like a rinse less wash? Like optimum no rinse ONR. Spray the froth Wash panel with just water using microfiber mitt or big red sponge Spray your products or bead maker Then towel dry Rinse mitt or sponge Repeat I guess I’m trying to eliminate multiple wash towels I feel your product because it foams will have more lubricity then ONR

I plan on getting Frothe for my winters here in GA...which honestly aren't rough at all. I haven't purchased any products from you yet, but I plan too. I have started using your techniques which, in my opinion, are the first real step towards "scratch free" washes. I do want your products to restore my cars to their factory shine, just a bit too pricey for me now. I have faith though and plan to make this investment. BTW, using your techniques on a 2018 Odyssey Elite because...yeah, I love that thing. I treat it like a luxury car.

Hey Larry, a little off topic, but you should go through and update your list of recommended products on your website. (You know the ones for products that you reccomend that redirect you to an Amazon link) some (not all) products have either changed manufacturers or have some other issue or another like poor reviews. For example the "Foam applicator pads" seem to have changed suppliers or something because after a certain date, instead of getting a pack of good, quality foam applicators, people get a set of smashed, completly flat foam pancakes. Keep up the good work I know you're a busy guy

Hey Larry! I was just watching a video from Scott over at Dallas Paint Correction and he had mentioned that his favorite clay lubricant is Armor All Ultra Shine Spray Wash. He isn’t a huge fan of armor all, however, this product foams on the surface of the car which keeps product from dripping off of the car onto the ground causing you to have to keep spraying product over the panel to keep the area lubricated. I was wondering if FROTHe could do the same thing since it is a waterless wash that foams up really nicely. I’d be interested to hear your comments and maybe even see a video where you tested this on your test panel to see if this method would scratch the paint.

Larry, I've always been a huge fan. Your products are on point! I have a question when using the frothe. Would it be better to damp the microfiber towel before wiping the frothe away? Similar to damping the towel before using the hydrate (original formula)? This will add lubrication and would also decrease the amount of towels you'd use since you can rinse the towel in a bucket of clean water (with grit guard), wringing out, then use it damp again, similar to the two bucket wash. Thoughts?
