Great process awsome results. If they have that kind of money. Just get the whole truck ppf film it’s the only way to protect your investment one scratch n you have to re paint. I’ve seen guys us paint protection film over a scratch in matte paint and it disappears , you still have to wash care for your car with ppf film on it but you can simply the process of washing the vehicle.

Great detailed video on how maintain the high maintenance of paint types. Not a type of paint I would own. The average owner of this car doesn't wash their cars if they can drop $155K.

nice job but assuming the owner drives home and it's rained before getting home and the car gets dirty can it be washed the following day or the dirt be left for two weeks when the coating cures

Hi. thanks, for coatings they should not be washed at all for 2 weeks, but if they are IR lamp cured it can be washed the next day and be totally fine. If you dont have an IR lamp to cure it, just let the vehicle get dirty and don't wash ti for two weeks no matter what. the coating is dry and can get wet or dirty, but it needs to cure for that time before its washed with any soaps.

I would like to remove the emblems from my BMW iX1 in 'individual' matte frozen grey colour. Is that possible since you can't polish it after having removed the emblems and residues. Thanks

Hey brother , when washing prepping and deconning a matte painted vehicle , you think their matte body wash and matte decon is plenty ? I’m not using a Beaselys coating. I wanted to wash then use their decon then gyeon prep then my coating. Thank you!

Congratulations on a really cool video and I like the long waiting time on the coating to help prevent a high spot! You guys did make me do a double take when you sprinkled distilled water on the surface before coating but it all makes sense. Being a home based detailer the only drawback is the long curing time. I do not have curing lamps so this will shut down my work space for days. Dr. Beasley’s has been introducing some cool products which I do want to learn more about! Thank you for the video!

Thanks! It really only needs 24h like a regular coating. I don’t have IR lamps either so I usually just let it sit into the next day. So it only takes up 2 days for us. But for coating jobs it’s fine because they are high ticket jobs.

Beautiful job but matte paint is definitely not for the faint hearted! It is a life commitment to keep it pristine. Once it starts to show imperfections due to less than ideal treatment, it is very hard to bring it back to its former glory.

this is the most amateur response I want water drops or drop to sit on the top of the paint not in the paint and water drop is dancing and sliding. And yes I have dust in the cabin and only leather is steering wheel rest is plastic and cloth seats
