Reggie Lee When you have the will and the determination to stick with something, you can do amazing things despite your age. I knew a guy that worked out at my gym six days a week who was in his late 80’s. (87, I believe). He was doing some pretty impressive stuff too and looked great. This guy in the video is doing what he loves, and he doesn’t let the mental voice of “I’m too old for this” stop him. Because we as humans often underestimate ourselves based on statistical claims.

LOL I think I'm turning into the same kind of guy. I'm 34 and recently saw a picture from when I was 20 (shirt is older than that) wearing a shirt I wore a couple months ago. I try to keep my stuff in good condition and don't really by anything unless I need it or really want it for a long time. I make good money now but when I was growing up it was scarce and as I kid I found out if I waited a few weeks before buying something (just in case something I wanted more came along) I didn't even care about it much after a while. So now I only buy stuff if it's still on my mind after a couple months. I think the low amount and inconsistency of my allowance (it was uncommon for my parents to have to "barrow" it back) made me realize nothing is guaranteed. Fortunately I haven't had to ask my parent for a cent since I made 20 cause I was so used to buying nothing but necessities and always have been happy just to have my bill paid and a place to leave comfortably. I'm just now starting to realize I'm not poor anymore and I can start buying some stuff. Either way it never effected my happiness.

As a detailer myself I love the aspects of detailing, enhancing, and protecting very high end cars, it’s part of my daily routine 9 times out of 10 every day at the shop. HOWEVER, although disaster detail cars suck and give you that feeling of dread when you see them roll in and open the door for the first time, there’s nothing like transforming them into something that anyone would be proud to drive. Details like this are the most satisfying ones of all no doubt because every once in a while it’s good to prove your worth as a detailer in full and it’s jobs like this that remind you why you got into detailing in the first place all those years ago. @MDS Exactly! You could always guess the differences between an old Mercedes and an old toyota! Although I am not saying they are crap right now because I think they still pack some luxury but it's sure is deteriorating.( even the new "X-class" by Mercedes is a rebadged Nissan Navara!)

I used to have a 1976 450 SEL. It wasn't in perfect condition but it ran smoothly and still looked good. I always wanted to save some money and restore it and make it look like new, but tough economy times presented and had to sell it. I felt happy for those guys while watching the video, something I wish I could have done for my dad. I currently drive a 1997 Jeep wrangler, which was my first car.
