I can imagine monsters from SOMA and Penumbra as well. I can imagine Wraiths being the closest to Cacodemons since they can fly and attack from afar, Manpigs being the Pinky demons (and maybe the Tesla Manpig could be those cloaked Pinky demons), the Grunts can be Imps and possibly others I’ll think about later.

I would love to a shooter game really leverage ammo rationing like the bunker did. The Resident Evil games kinda did it, but they did it the lame way by making every enemy a bullet sponge. I want to see a game where good shot placement will put enemies down in one shot, but ammo is so scarce that you're forced to count out individual bullets for each encounter.

Dust for New Vegas and Frost for fallout 4 attempt it. Some parts of Metro kinda do it. But yeah, there is really no fps where you are holding onto 1 bullet for an emergency. Neo Survivor does, but it's a turned based rougelike that is fairly janky.

Neo Scavenger does it, Darkwood, some parts of Half Life can be that way, Hunt Showdown, The Long Dark, No More Room in Hell, even some frontlines in Foxhole can leave you having to scavenge the dead for 1 magazine.

In my plathrough (shellshocked but with very high ammo count), l found easily the shotgun in a locker and had around 10 shells. No luck with the revolver, it was locked in a locker but l did collect 30 rounds of it. Imagine that, having so much ammo but couldn't use it.
