This music captures the panic, fear, and chase. It has the constant drums giving an intense feel of horror and insanity, the leering ghostly chorus gives the feeling that something is behind you, hunting you down. The orchestra and screeching causes you to panic and run for your life. Truly a song meant for a horror game.

@@Immolator772 oh certainly. Even invisible it’s quite notorious haha! As for killing it, you can throw crates directly at it. It may take a couple crates but once you see a yellow splash instead of a white splash, it should be dead and you can walk around unhindered. You can’t really kill the two bigger ones though b/c the game doesn’t provide you with enough grabbable crates.

0:37 I fucking LOVE this part. To be honest, this theme doesn't scare me at all. Granted, this could be because I've beaten Amnesia more than once, but I just find it badass. That section is so blood pumpingly amazing, I can hardly handle it. This song is the sole reason I take my time during the Kaernk chase.

Freddy Fazbear Either it's an error on the developers' parts, but if you keep smashing a box or barrel on a water monster it'll eventually die. Though I noticed the giant one takes a while... Look it up. There's also a theory that it just glitches out and doesn't attack you anymore.

Once when my brother was playing Amnesia and he was redirecting the sewer water, he took too long to find the exit and the shadow was catching up, also there was a water monster, but he finally found the door and left. We were so scared but relieved!

How I hate HATE the smashing of doors. You touch the doorknob and BANG, "Bwarrgh...". This game scared me pale and bloodless. I remember in the Prison, I froze up completely at a point: I touched the doorknob, heard a gatherer inside, but I was too afraid to move. I simply turned my head and stared the other way. Maybe when the special infected have affected you with their special ability. It's an idea for a nice mod, but I think the music is just fine for L4D. The Amnesia songs are meant to be taken during long sections of the game like the chase sequences, general ambiance, and hiding. That's why we can truly appreciate them. The short loops in L4D work because the special infected don't usually last long if you play well enough. Again, your idea is still interesting enough to try :)
