This would make for a great attachment for a milsim if you are running an M4. Just think, if you have an M4 with range good enough to want to run a scope on it, get one of those 2-7 tube scopes and use that. You got the 2x for normal use and the 4-7x for the "sniper" use.

I’m going to put my AS02 barrel and scope on it as my secondary to my 325 FPS m4. It’s just what I need for where I play and what I need to round out my kit. I originally thought I’d just get the AS03 body to do it, but now knowing it has a single piece cylinder I’ll just by the gun to make a stockless sniper secondary, and a short barreled knee capper build with a tracer and stock for playing indoors on hard mode (the stock will give it faster follow up shots), or for fallout theme games.

Fun review Mark. Really enjoyed it and loving the new format. Looks like it’s hard to aim as I see the barrel wavering quite a bit as you’re aiming down range. I would put a suppressor on it to hide a longer inner barrel to crank it up to 450fps to be truly effective as a long range shooter. I like your suggestion about carrying it like a shotgun in my pack. Alternatively I would mount it on a single point sling and just carry it under my arm on my side.

Yknow, what you said summed up what I originally thought "it puts a smile on your face", cause I had one on me the ENTIRE way through this video. That said, ya kinda make a good point in that it could work like a sort of "back up" sniper rifle for that precision shot. When you put it that way, it actually makes the gun sound a bit more practical.

SG3 sucks out the box imo, but doubling the length of the barrel, adding a mock silencer/barrel extension, change the piston head o ring, grease the piston and the bolt runner, add an piece of 6mm silicon tube to the hopper side of the mag to hopper feed pipe, and duck tape the dust hole on the piston shroud as well as upgrading the spring and I now think my bolt action long pistol is about full airsoft sniper power(500fps). Still need to crono it but now this thing can now be considered dangerous! instead of just being a weak pistol. I might even need to undo some of my mods!

I have that Flintlock Pistol he pulled out for comparison lol and honestly I think I would use mine instead of this "sniper". If I want to use something outrageous that will definitely get me on the Field's camera roll, it'll be using the Flintlock (though I probably be carrying my P90 too....) If they made an AEG instead of bolt action that looked like this Striker, maybe using M14 mags, that might be something.

Technically speaking the 02 should shoot better than the 01 assuming you're using heavier bbs. The Ares snipers have a small air volume compared to the Marui VSR series. So the bb isn't being fully accelerated the length of the 01 barrel (again assuming heavy bbs). The shorter 02 barrel is more efficient and just as accurate.

Sadly there isn't but the inner barrel is the same, so potentially you can swap out the inner barrel of the AS02 and put a super short outer barrel on it and there you go...how it will end up looking....hahaha its all about having fun right? haha - Marck

As far as practicality goes the AS-02 is the best among the three rifles (though I feel the barrel could be a slight bit longer). This AS-03 so far really is just an impractical meme gun made just for the lols, a foldable stock would really make it an actually considerable choice

AS02 is a beast and this gun just doesn't fit as well. I can see this in a gun SMG loadout though. You can get this things fps up and use a high grade bb. This could be a nice range weapon with a SMG loadout. I'm not personally a fan. The AS02 is what I'm aiming for cqb.

well yay it shoots 370 fps. Bravo Ares!! You You managed to make a gun that can be outshot by just about any good pistol on the field. Not to mention all of the accessories are going to be proprietary. Redwolf, instead of showing FPS and incredibly short range accuracy tests, show us some 100ft shots, that is the minimum range I consider any gun to be considered a sniper .
