I found out about Hinds on NPR, they released 'Chili Town' before their debut dropped, I was hooked and I finally saw them live at Boston Calling 2022; they were so good live. The fact they called out a Courtney Barnett album is awesome, maybe they should together.

I love when you hear music that has been sampled and figure out who the original artist is. Hearing that Raymond Scott track I knew it instantly as Lightworks from MF DOOM with J Dilla producing the beats. Awesome.

While you're at it check out Phantom of the Paradise. Came out a year or so earlier and stars and scored by Paul Williams (wrote a ton of songs in 70s/80s like "Rainbow Connection", Rainy Days and Mondays...") Anywho it's just as far out and weird as Rocky Horror. Should be a trailer posted somewhere on the ol' youtubes :).
