Amoebic Encephalitis : കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയില്‍ ഒരു കുട്ടിക്കു കൂടി അമീബിക് മസ്തിഷ്‌ക ജ്വരം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു. തിക്കോടി പള്ളിക്കര സ്വദേശിയായ പതിനാലുകാരനാണ് രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്. സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ ചികിത്സയിലുള്ള കുട്ടിയുടെ ആരോഗ്യനില തൃപ്തികരമാണ്.
Amoebic meningitis has been confirmed in another child in Kozhikode district. The disease has been confirmed in a fourteen-year-old boy from Pallikkara, Thikkodi.
