I don't know how I never heard this song before, I had it and it came up randomly on my ipod and I'd now one of my favorites by Amon Amarth. These guys have a great tone and sound. Excellent death metal!

+Kyle D I prefer to call them melodic death metal. Those riffs/solos whatever you call them are totally badass. Other death metal bands are ... unorganized ... of course there are some exceptions.

You like epic metal like me☺. So, i strongly advise you Moonsorrow (my favorite band), Forefather, Thyrfing, Mithotyn, Primordial, Finntroll. After that, if you want more, there are Wolfchant, Finsterforst, Manegarm, Running Wild and Rhapsody (epic heavy power metal ), Skalmold, Thronar...

They're both absolutely godly, just not the same style. Imo, this album is better, but Jomsviking is easily my number two. It was my first AA album as well. I think I just prefer the speed and melody of this album. Jomsviking is all over the damn place, with the slow-ish, dark-ish One Thousand Burning Arrows, the pure melodeath First Kill (which, imo, sounds a lot like their older shit), the headbanger Raise Your Horns, the pure rage of One Against All, the epic Back on Northern Shores, and the collaboration with Doro on A Dream That Cannot Be. Its amazing, and it tells an amazing story. Still, I think I just prefer pure melodeath. Hell, Victorious March is my favorite song of all time right now.
