I don't often follow bands careers much past 1976 but somehow the Germans manage to break that rule.
I bought an old car recently and only had a tape player, and went to find my old tapes and this was one of them.
Its great and I had forgotton it.

It’s pretty good, I’m not sure if I like it more than amon Düül II’s post 75’ albums because it’s not very interesting, I’d say it’s about on the same level

Had the Vinyl years ago, had to sell it when impoverished. Wish I still had it. An interesting Record...and Guy Evans from Van Der Graaf Generator played on it I think.

I have never been broke enough in my life to sell my music I love. Once when I was literally close to starving in not my city with no fixed abode I saw by The Moody Blues's 'Every Good Boy Deserves A Favor' in a shop window for $6. I quickly checked my pockets & found that's all the money I had & I'd intended to by food with what I had. I though "There's nothing better on earth I could spend $6 on then 'Every Good Boy Deserves Favor' by The Moody Blues, walked in & got it. I was content~

@tony peacock There must've been some wreckage in the tape as it only goes from start to 12 minutes. The starts again at 20 minutes & ceases forever at the 45th minute but am forever grateful for the upload man. Didn't know Guy Evans from Van Der Graaf Generator played on it & I'm still listening to it all these years after my 5 Years Stuck On Earth (Mars lol) since my 1st comment so thanks again for the upload man!~

Got these from Prem with a macabre illustration by Charles Addams "The Addams Family" of The New Yorker fame, unfortunately, returned to his collection three days from from his sudden death. Was walking around in a coma. Was 60ish and now I'm 67 and counting. Had a stroke and cannot move, a tiny Amazon tablet means the word 2 me. Laying in bed for 17 years.

I had all the albums & 1000's of albums in vinyl. Like all The Cosmic Jokers all the Hawkwind all The Moody Blues's & a whole Krautrock genre of rare stuff like Gille's Zeitschiff The Cosmic Jokers & Tim Leary's 7UP till my house burnt down within the week I'd rung the insurance company to inform them that it would be reinsured within the week. They failed to tell me I was due a cover letter

Wow!!! I've been an Amon Duul ii fan for years. I have not heard this recording. It's quite amazing, kind of like Yeti or Tans see Lemminge

YES similar to my comment. They went a bit off after Made In Germany & what came after for a few albums only had a few excellent songs on each. But in the 80's after reforming into the old & loved psychedelic sounds again. Amon Dull released a compilation from those albums called Airs On A Shoestring & if you love what styles you mentioned you'll be eternally glad you did. Also in that era they did Die Lobsong with Hawkwinds Robert Calvert check it out if you haven't heard it you'll be drawn to it's flame!~

There are many albums, about twenty studio and live including Carnival in Babylon, Wolf City, Utopia, Hijack, Pyragony and there you have it - Hawk Meets Penguin.

@@resistor27 Exactly I've asked that 5years ago now, still haven't got an answer but at least we can least we to what is there which is a blessing indeed lol I'd say as it was a recovered tape there was some damage to part of the tape. I've had the problem with loss due to damage a number of times. Sometimes you have to splice out the damaged parts to repair them.

There’s that one album he has with Calvert on it into the flame A two part song and I think the other one is that’s when I get the adrenaline rush That may be part of the chorus of the song but there you go from one good old Hawks fan Winds blowing through one mind to another

@tony peacock Yes I get that which is why I mentioned the albums up till this after 75's Made In Germany only had a few of the truly inspiring songs till they reformed in the 80's after a hiatus . I love this album. AFTER 'MADE IN GERMANY' THEY WENT A LITTLE LAME OVER A COMPLETE ALBUM & USUALLY ONLY HAD A FEW GOOD SONGS BUT THIS IS A TOTALLY BACK TO PSYCHEDELIA RERUN & I ADORE IT!~ PS sorry noticed I hit caps lol Did you know it goes silent between 8minutes & 25 minutes???@tony peacock There must've
