@platy, your bass boost on the windows mic setting itself might be too high, but since its not blown for the OST or capture software, either the capture software is doing great work at screening audio, or the blowing out is on whatever program is being used for comms in this game and all the other games where people are validly complaining about the audio volumes/blowout

OR, it could be the physical configuration of the mic, if there were attenuators in the mic previously that arent there now, or if some type of volume/freq dial is cranked up (these also assume OST is screening really well again)

This was from a couple weeks ago we were able to figure it out since. It was the line in on the gaming PC having it quality set to DVD quality at like 12000khz or something super low in audio setting combined with the windows bass boost and volume being way too high. -jdude
