The Switch version got fixes to basically everything wrong with it recently. You can now choose your map correctly, you can scroll to see chat history and I'm assuming the glitch where you can't type in TV mode if a meeting is called while you are in a vent was also fixed. The only problems that continue are the lack of paid skins and hats (and the fact none are given to you with your purchase as they are in the PC version) alongside the game settings not saving between boot ups of the game. Huge respect for the devs whether that be at innersloth or play every ware for pursuing and fixing these problems.

tbf, these guys originally released a freaking beta build of the game just to get it out by the direct. the many glitches and lack of skins are somewhat indictive of this, but the main proof is the existence of henry stickmin skins and an unfinished version of the airship map in the game. this stuff shouldnt be out, but they used their lates dev build on accident. nintendo probably made them rush this for the direct, but still.

@@sethgob5591 very much agree with that, definitely seemed like that's what happened and it's a shame that we see that so often with games now, but it's good that they're not just leaving it in that state and working to fix it. Some people I've talked with about the Switch version straight up didn't notice any problems, and reviews like this which were probably made before the patch also gloss over the issues the game had. I think they would have been able to get away with leaving the game in the state that it was, so although it's giving them credit for the bare minimum, I'm happy they're fixing it.

@@taskmagician4289 Just plug in any old keyboard you find in your house or buy one in a store, it really shouldn't cost much at all, but has have a usb plug because any other plug won't fit and bluetooth and the switch only recognizes some bluetooth controllers and nothing else so if you're gonna use a bluetooth keyboard you're gonna need a dongle that allows the switch to connect to the keyboard.

I initially almost lost cause when I reported a body, I couldn’t type really fast in the chat and obviously wasn’t using voice or anything. It takes forever to type out on switch. Course...I was also the imposter lol, and somehow still won 1 v 9. 😂

Rumble application is amazing! Works great with a wireless keyboard ... just wish all hats and pets were included.... not enough hats!! Selection is different across all platforms .... please fix need my witch hat

I didn't like the controls on the mobile version so I believe the switch versions is waaaay beyond that. The mobile controls didn't work for me, I really have them (personal opinion)

My opinion: The tv mode is useless, as it’s a pain to type in tv mode as well. I’d recommend the handheld version as it acts like an iPhone keyboard. Make sure you have online and joycons that don’t drift.

just dont buy it. its controls are bad, you have to pay for switch online just to play it online, it costs 68 cents more than the pc version, it doesnt come with any skins nor hats like the pc version. the only things that i found good in the game were that it was among us and it loads faster.

I kinda miss comments about the chatting capabilities on the switch. Because in the game you chat a lot when voting people. And I think the keyboard is horrible for it, except maybe in handheld. Kind of a miss in the review.

switch is the BEST way to play among us... keeps touch screen tasks, has joysticks and buttons to kills and sabotage and vents... has touch keyboard for free chat and also touch screen for quick chat...
