There is a theory that Mr Poppybutthole is a memory invader but a different species. His species creates good memories instead. Thus, the audience doesn't see him before this episode, but he passes the test which caught all the other memory invaders. I don't fully believe it, but it is a theory I can't disprove.

Thank you so much for deciding to entertain and make others smile, laugh and provide a brief escape. I was one of the high school students who got their last year of school robbed from them because of the pandemic. Being quarantined and alone since my friends have all moved far away, it's been really hard feeling normal and even more hard to try to make new connections with people. I feel so alone and down sometimes that I just want to sleep, and sometimes it feels like my bedroom is locked from the outside. Like I'm in a cage of my own making. I've held the key to let myself out of my own prison, but I realized that I was scared of letting people in my life again because I didn't want them to hurt me and leave again. When that happens I feel so stupid for thinking someone cared. I always convince myself im too niave and trust in people when I shouldnt. Took a long time to finally open my door again and invite people inside. You're channel alone didn't help me, it was a lot of work, therapy, and self reflection. But I recently came across a video explaining how parasocial relationships are actually healthy as long as you keep yourself grounded in reality and I know that I actually have no idea who you are. But I still have to thank you, because without your silly and fun reactions I wouldn't have felt like I had a friend to watch some of my favorite shows with. Sometimes we just need our favorite content creators to have a laugh with us. Thank you for being an inspiration. You might've done this for yourself I have no clue tbf, but your choice to pursue this in the midst of battling your temporary condition because it is a temporary thing. I believe you're way stronger than your condition. But your choices have impacted and inspired me to live my life in pursuit of happiness for everyone starting with myself. My biggest problem whit this ep was that there was no good foreshadowing of PB being real. In fact its worse than that, as the hole thing seems to start after PB says "do you not remember that time in the elevator" and also PB only showing up after the first death, and there was not even a place for him at the table:... So my only real conclusion to this is that Beth actually saved the planet by some miracle happen to hit the parasite in its reproductive organ and so now lives sterile pretending to be well what ever that thing is. Witch is why PB hates Beth and use that as excuse to stay out and away from the family.... rehabs in hopes of recovering and overtake the world.
