Question - Is it possible to use these in social media posts? And can they be dropped into an InDesign document and publish online? I love this option to create simple animations. I remember doing this in Photoshop for web use.

Awesome question! Firstly, you most certainly can export as a GIF or Video to share on social media. I works much like the Photoshop timeline would, but it's much easier to add easing and tween transitions to animations. Yes it can. If you go to File > Export > Export Media/Video, you will have the option to save as .MP4. You may need to also download Media Encoder to convert it to H.264.
