Thanks for this! It really saved me. I noticed you left out something at the HTML part that's important for the click tag to work: In order for the link to work, you need to wrap the div that's inside the body INSIDE the a tag. Meaning the opening of the a tag needs to be set in front of the opening div tag, and the closing part has to be set after the closing div. Seems most of your comments are positive, so maybe most people already figured this out, but just in case anyone wonders why it doesn't work for them, this worked for me.

Do you have to have a google dev account or anything? I want to create banner then move it all to server and place it in page code.

I know this is an old video, but I only recently learned about this feature. Do you know if the editor or commenter can make a comment that’s basically saying “swap this text for the existing” and I click on “resolve” and it just does it? That seems to be what Adobe implies on their help page. Obviously I can copy paste. There’s a strike through option in acrobat, and that deletes text in Indesign when you click on resolve.

Great Video. I've hit a problem that you may be able to help with. I've embedded 4 youtube videos into my interactive brochure and used your pop-video tutorial to showcase them when the each play button is clicked. My problem is that after the closed button is clicked and the pop-ups disengage, when I try to click a different button on my home page, the youtube navigations are still engaged from the previously closed pop-up video (i.e I'll try to click the home button and the previously closed video will start to play or skip the video ahead 10 seconds etc...) is there anyway around this problem? When I click the close button, I want all the youtube controls to be completely disengaged until the video play button is clicked again. I know I could do this with an embedded video file but I can't figure out how to do it with a embedded video link.

I really wish you could use generative expand on pdfs in indesign. I use this feature to add bleed to pdfs that clients provide when they forget. I need to add bleed and then I need crops to send to print. My current workflow is pretty lengthy. Maybe someone can offer a better solution. I either have to convert the pdf to a jpeg to use generative expand in indesign (so I can include bleed and crop marks upon exporting) or I use content aware fill in photoshop and bring it back into indesign ( again so I have bleed and crop marks). It's a lot of extra steps. Is there a better way? I don't understand why I can do content aware fill on a pdf in photoshop but not generative expand on a pdf in indesign.

Thank you for the detailed tutorial. Is there any way to publish it as a pdf and still have it work? My challenge is, that if i do this, the object states is not changing. The buttons work fine, but not the images. I have used images as states instead of text fields in your example. Thank you and could use input, and can't find useful info from google search.

Question/Issue. I've done this exercise with a document containing three videos. Two of the three operate with no issues. The third plays once. If I click the PLAY button a second time, the animation does not execute but the audio from the video will turn on. What am I doing wrong?
