At 35:30 when you’re taking about gossiping and you said “Susie’s sh*tty pie she brought to the potluck last week…” I laughed so hard, because for a while I worked as a church secretary/accountant and they had archived church council meeting minutes and they wanted me to digitize them. The council Secretary who made the notes from 1923-1926 threw so much shade. One of the notes said “Refreshments this evening: Tea, chicken salad (contributed by Beverly Whitman/Too much onion) and Apple cake (contributed by Maude Covington/very dry) I loved reading those notes. She was so b*tchy. It was amazing. 😂

42:33 the way she was treated by the “wife” is exactly how I was treated by my mother-in-law from even before she met me. She is a narcissist though. She actually said because I didn’t go to college and my mother was an alcoholic that meant I would be one too and that I wasn’t good enough to be in their family. Her words. That was in 1994. We married in 1998. Divorce will be finalized soon hopefully.

gotta comment to say, trauma bonds are between the abuser and the abused. It gets used as a "friends bc you understand each other" way, but its more "i control you, and you'll love me bc I'm your everything and you cant leave me" kinda deal.

I dont think billy flipped a switch, I think he found out his love used to be sexually involved with his father, found out that was the only reason they even dated, and couldnt get over it. But making fun of her and public and what not is uncalled for lol like let her go if you hate her now

I find it hypocritical to judge or trash talk someone for the things they enjoy or like to do but turn around and trash talk someone who simply doesn’t agree with another persons actions when it lines up with the things you guys agree with like in this episode you shit talked people who enjoy bug game hunting or people who”who travel and go to another country to hunt giraffes or big cats” when it’s completely legal and in most cases beneficial for the population of that animal bc mature giraffes when they get to a certain size and maturity will kill all the younger male giraffes causing inbreeding bc there isn’t enough males to mate bc the one bigger male had went around and killed them all. The legal hunters arnt just going around mass killing animals just for the hell of it most times it’s for a reason. another thing I can’t remember the episode it was but you always slam guys for cheating on their wife’s and saying why not just divorce but in that episode the woman cheated and one of you said well o can see why I don’t blame her blah blah blah all bc you just didn’t like the guy bc of how he snapped and killed her bc of her cheating. It’s not good either way no matter who was doing it male or female. The episodes are great but sometimes I feel like you guys are one sided just bc it’s a female.

Agreed. The bias is pretty thick.
