Amorette's Cake Decorating Experience returns, and I surprise the Little Chef with a reservation!

Amorettes has brought back their cake decorating experience and I took the Little Chef to check it out. I surprised her with the reservation just 15 minutes before the class. She was so excited and couldn't wait to get started. Once we got inside we were greeted by the staff and offered a beverage. We chose lattes and they were delicious. We learned about the history of Amorettes and the inspiration behind it. We also learned new baking words like pate a fruit, and glacage. We used edible paints and fondant. We assembled and sampled a very delicious mickey dome cake. It was incredibly educational and fun. The cake came out great and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my aspiring chef. I highly recommend giving it a try if you have the means to do so. It is a bit pricey but you do get a lot out of it. We also received a special pin to remember the time. Fantastic experience.

Absolutely!! You can leave the cake at Amorettes while you shop and such and pick it up when you are ready to leave. They package it in a gorgeous Hat Box and a bag. We brought our cake to my in-laws for Thanksgiving so it was all gone the next day. I would say to do this towards the beginning of your trip if you are visiting from out of state, and enjoy it at night or even for breakfast throughout your visit. :)

@@heresdonny6652 I’m glad I could help. It really was such a great experience. I love learning about Disney and this class was full of so many fun facts. I didn’t want to spoil the class for others. I tried to show what the cake decorating part was like so the “educational” part would remain engaging and unspoiled for those attending in the future.
