The funny thing is that you judged this man on 2 titles at Sporting without any context and never seen us play. First title we had Porto and Benfica in complete crises. Second season we had Gyorkeres. We played very poor most of our games and depend on individual actions of our players to get us out of the mess our manager got us in. Not tactics nor the system. Just one player going for it and being successful. Go and watch Sporting - Marseille, home and away. Look at the wonderful tactics there. Go and watch all of our games against Atalanta, Lask Linsk and the game against PSV. You hyped him up too much and he believes his own hype. Don't ever let him choose a forward player. He got is to buy Paulinho, check his stats. He wanted Fotis Ioannidis, go check his stats. Luckily we didn't get him. Amorim is not a bad manager but he should have started at a smaller club in the PM like Marco Silva, but he thought he was the next Mourinho our Alex Ferguson. Deluded 😊

I will keep saying it..we dont have an elite dribbler talismann who can unlock teams. We dont have a saka, or a salah etc. The best we have is amad but when teams double up on him, we are back to square one. We need a rayan cherki so bad on the other side such that every time we go 1v1 on the left (where Garnacho gets it) it should always be a chance created. Its when we are creating and missing chance after chance that we then go out and buy an elite striker. We only had 2 shots on target today. 2!!!! We dont create enough high quality chances. We can bring gyokeres or osihmen and yes we score a bit more, but we would still be midtable. We dont create enough and we need elite level dribblers

Today was a terrible performance. We were rubbish. We can't score and beat Crystal Palace at home. Not to mention that I can't remember a worse season for losing at home so many times. This was a big tactical mistake by Amorim by having no focal point as bad as Zirkzee is at times this was his game to pull defenders deep creating room for runners. But we need to move on as fans for the next game as we need to keep backing them. Real fans don’t abandon their team, yes we can constructively criticize.

Amorim isn’t the one to blame hold the players accountable. It’s the same issue when he keeps playing ineffective strikers up front. United’s players just aren’t good enough. I’ve never felt comfortable with Dalot in this Manchester United team. I saw this kind of performance coming long before the game. After that match against FCSB, I knew they would put in another lackluster display, just because they won a Europa League game. And especially with Dalot scoring in that match, he probably thinks he’s Roberto Carlos. That’s the mentality in this squad they are miles away from elite players in terms of behavior, attitude, and approach. This group will undermine any manager, no matter who is in charge. If the team performs well, which would usually be one in many games, you guys would say they are back, etc etc etc, but totally forget that it's the same average players we have.. This loss isn't a surprise for me, because I don't expect much from the majority of these players.. So it's not a disgrace that they have lost, it's just their nature, they can't do any better, which basically means, we need better players.. Most of these players have no intelligence, in fact, I think Amad is the only intelligent player we have, perhaps, Bruno to some extent.. If you guys aren't convinced by now that these players will never be able to reach up to the standards and expectations that this club is all about, then, your iq is far lower than that of these players.. Even when they win a match convincingly, that still can't change my perspective about them, because it's been years of conviction that they are just not good enough..

Thing is, Amorim has had two months, and the feeling is it is as if EtH was still around. There's excitement in what Diallo can do, Zirkzee is tall, young, eager, and the players can play well as we've seen away to AFC in the FA Cup. Need to know your players, for Amorim. Sounds obvious, but resulting to Mainoo as a no.9 doesn't cut it, even as an experiment. Have a contingency plan, adapt from the 3-4-2-1 (which I dislike), to change it up if there are discrepancies, know which player can go where and do what. Things like that, for the season at least. There's Europa and the FA Cup to branch out in. Otherwise, it's as if Amorim doesn't recognise the need for change further than substitutions. You say relax, they're a s*** team, but fans want to see at least an effort. And the season isn't done when you feel like, so it's like a broken record whenever things don't go Utd's way. A player is missing, it's then said he's missed. He comes back, it's then said he was s***. Bear up for the season, more than relax.

The only problem I see is not playing Collyer ahead of Ugarte. I trust him to play out from the back. That would have made Bruno move further up. I can't condemn Amorin that much for the positioning he had the players. Probably, it worked in training, but the real test is in a real-time battle. The season is already gone in terms of premiership. He wouldn't try that in cup games. I know I'm gonna be controversial in my statement I will make next: I'm glad Licha is out. We need a better left wing or right wing center half that supports the midfield. He doesn't have the pace to move back and forth, so most times, he's stuck at the back to pin passes, especially when oppositions are aggressive. Our forward can't control those passes, so we play the style that suits their abilities. Heaven is capable and gonna prove that. Morover, that's the essence of 3 at the back. When the ball is lost, he has 2 defenders behind, plus his pace to support. If it works, we are sure of creating a chance. Though the finishing is under contention with the bad strikers.
