United fans, as a Liverpool fan I want to be objective with you. Amorim needs a pre-season. He said so himself when he asked to only come in at the end of this season. Your current situation may not improve by much. As funny as it might be, you won't get relegated. You guys have to decide whether you're willing to write off this season in the hopes that he is your guy. If you believe he is, you should have no issues with that. If you're still gonna judge him on this season, you may as well sack him now cause it's obvious he's sacrificing the season for what he hopes will be gains next season. Hopefully for you, your board makes the right decision.

Casemiro and eriksenn… two experienced midfielders.. earning big money.. completely rested.. performed awfully and its the managers fault… of course…

They sold McTominay and it looks like Rashford's also on his way out. Yes - it's pure profit as they're both academy players, but does anyone seriously believe that Man U will spend they money they get for them on anyone any better? Worse more likely.

Amorim is naïve and out of his depth, the squad is abysmal and the level of football “journalism” has never been worse from legacy to the trite, cliched shite contained in this video. Truly a depressing period in football

"I am sorry for Amorim"..... are you kidding ? I am not saying he is a bad manager, but it was his decision to get paid to carry out this job. From top to bottom, it has been a perfect disaster for years. Everyone is the culprit, even the fans... but for me, the turning point towards this downfall was the decision to sack Moyes at that exact moment... should have given him another 6 months to sort things out. Happy new year bro.... Well, not so happy as a MU Fan, but let's keep united.. at least this is what we can hang on for now.

The reason man Utd are in this mess is because no good players want to go them now & thats why 8 players who started last night where signed by ten hag & that reflects where man Utd are
@inthegutterstaringathestars2 күн бұрын
When did ten hag become transfer negotiator for United? They were signed by John Murtough and the Glazers who overpaid on every deal. How is that ETH's fault?

Amorim: we will suffer. I am ready to suffer also, but we will get it right In other words: I am not going to admit whether I'm out of my depth or not, but I'll stick around until you pay me my compensation

Any manager would be out of their depth including pep and Klopp. This is the hardest job in football of all time. It’s time the media start realising that Amorim has inherited a mid table side at best.
@Clubber_Lang_Күн бұрын
The pre-season excuse no longer holds value. He wasn't forced to take the job, De Zerbi turned it down. He always screwed over S. Lisbon when he left them without a manager midseason.

Of course he is not broken. It is the squad that is broken. Poor management and recruitment spending over half a billion pounds in the last 6 years purchasing players at inflated prices who are just not good enough for the PL. Keep Amorim, give him two seasons to make it his squad, at the some time as progressing some juniors into seniors, whilst ridding ourselves of 70% of the senior squad. At the moment it is about survival.

Im a Liverpool supporter and i cannot believe that anybody is turning on Anorim now. The best thing to happen for united now is a relegation, get rid of the dross throughout the squad and do a rebuild.

Nice guy it seems, and a good coach, in certain scenarios. But implementing big changes, and benching/dropping players, with not a deep, quality squad? Seems a bad strategy mid season. Can't wait to see who they bring in for the relegation fight come end of season..😅

It's not looking good at all it's not a good look I'm blaming the Ineos & Ratcliffe as they don't know what they are doing.I sympathize with Amorim but why Ratcliffe didn't get rid of Ten Hag from in the summer then bring in Amorim for the Start of the new season instead of bringing him in November it makes no sense Or better yet let Ruud continue as interim manager for the rest of the season then bring in Amorim next summer giving him a fresh start & even preseason games its just messy Vanistelrooy was doing a very good job & he had the players clicking winning 3games & drawing 1 What was the purpose of chasing Ashworth for the entire summer then when you finally got him from Newcastle he only lasted for 5 months smh Do ManU have funds to even bring in any new players for this transfer window ? We have to remember the PSR rules because we don't want to get penalized by points deductions whole thing is in chaos Why would Ratcliffe give Ten Hag funds then sack him? Then now the players sucks not good enough to fit Amorim system so now eventually u have to get more funds for Amorim to get reinforcement Ratcliffe & his homies are clowns & have no brains We are fucking going backwards no direction

It's weird! When everyone was believing that ETH is the right man for the job I said he'd fail and... He failed! Now noone is believing in Amorim but I'm sure he'll be amazing good. Could it be worth risking FFP breach to bring in a couple of players in the most urgent positions in Jan? If it means finishing on, say, 60 points, then being deducted 10 due to FFP breach, it may be worth it? Desperate times call for for desperate measures

If Amorim will not change his formation and football principles, he should at least do something else differently, at least things that are within his power and control: ▪︎ player more midfielders in his formation - Ugarte & Mainoo/Collyer/Casemiro as no. 6s then Bruno & Eriksen/Mount/Mainoo as no 10s ▪︎ give Collyer more game time ▪︎ leave Amad as your RWB ▪︎ consider Garnacho for the striker position after all, he has always scored more goals than he creates for others, but can at least create goals for himself ▪︎ Draft it some youth players and make them part of the squad, players like Obi-Martin & Amass. ▪︎ sell whoever we can sell that is sellable and on our transfer list ▪︎ make the most of opportunities in the Janaury window like Olmo if there is a chance there; he needs to convince Ineos that the squad needs freshening, improving, and fast or else he will be marked as the problem (manager again, instead of the players)

Makes me laugh all these pundits claiming Amorim has been hard done by or given a hospital pass he didn’t have to take the job he had a good gig at Sporting and was building his reputation solidly with a well organised club in Portugal. He could have said no and seen how United have burnt previous managers before in the past but he chose to take it. Either he wasn’t given the full picture before he accepted the role or he hasn’t done his due diligence
@adamsmethurst60302 күн бұрын
Somewhere in tbe last century I remember Alan Brazil receiving some pretty rough treatment from the OT crowd. What happened yesterday was ugly. Whether JZ is good enough to improve Utd isn’t the point. Amorim got his selection wrong and could’ve taken off just about any of the outfield players. Amorim’s point about not returning to a failed system ifs fair. I would like to see him adjust his own system slightly to a 3-5-2 and pitch Marcus up top with Rasmus. Get Bruno to play a little closer to Ugarte and Mainoo. He has to get someone in to play left wingback this month, even if it’s a loan.
