Over played...same with Dalot, Garnacho, Mazraoui, Martinez, Hojlund, Bruno. Mainoo does seem to struggle to get through 90 minutes, it was the same under Ten Hag's 4-2-3-1

There is both physical and mental fatigue when you play at great intensity with 10 men and into extra time and both Mainoo and Ugarte really needed a week to properly recover. I am a bit surprised Collyer did not start but appreciate Amorim is now trying to limit his rotations on his starting 11 to achieve some continuity.

City are obviously getting off scot-free aren't they? Doesn't it seem a bit mad that the Premier league's rules on spending that, we were told, had been created to eradicate financial doping, to have a level playing field etc. have so far been used to penalise Forest, Leicester city and Everton. Whilst clubs like Aston Villa, United and Newcastle have all had to be careful and adjust their squad rebuilding as a result of the strict enforcement of these rules. United have still got the billion odd pounds worth of debt from a deal which the Premier league were OK with at the time... The only 2 clubs who haven't had any issues at all with the rules are: -Chelsea -City The 2 teams going to the world club champions league or whatever it's called. So the clubs which the rules were set up to curtail, are now effectively being protected by these rules... It's either ridiculous corruption or utter incompetence by the people who run the Premier league. I think the UK government should start to regulate this shit show and bring in some law and order to British football.

Even if we sold Malacia I can't see us keeping Amass, we've just signed Leon and we're stuck with Shaw. Davies would want a minimum £250k a week and a fat signing on fee. I was hoping we could do a swap deal for Mendes in this window but that looks highly unlikely now as PSG want the cash after buying the winger from Napoli whose name I can't spell.
