Truthfully, I loved the old Amorphis back in the day. The path that they have engaged after their death/black metal days is a nice refresher compared to the music around now. I will embrace Amorphis throughout every album. I enjoy the change. It is still metal, just not typical metal. Hail Amorphis.

Every album they have done is different from the last, the jumps between the early records are a little more extreme, but still they prove that once a fan thinks he knows their shape, they change. The early albums are classic, and that is not just an opinion, but any fan knows they need to experiment to remain shapeless. Stagnating minds should realize that change keeps things fresh...

Amorphis and Insomnium probs my favourite bands :D. Don't understand why people are whining about Amorphis not being Death Metal they've always been a metal band dipshits just an experimental metal band they sound just as good as they did in 94 if not better. If you actually give the albums a listen instead of judging their ballad songs you'd realize this.
