I have Memoir and love it. Its not for everyday wear though. Its very dark, gothic and dramatic. Its perfect for the opera in my opinion, so I need to go to the opera more often 😉

I've never been to an opera before...the closest is an Il Divo concert I travelled to Minneapolis for years ago :)

This is one of my favourite Amouage fragrances. And it’s worth every penny. That’s the kind of fragrance that actually deserves it’s high price tag. The house of Amouage uses very high quality ingredients

I haven't smelled memoir woman by amouage but I recently purchased l'agent by agent provocateur, the one it has been compared to. My first impression of l'agent is not that good. I dunno but the sprayer smells like cockroach. When I sprayed it on my arm, it smells weird. On my clothes, it's weirder. Plus, it's too powdery. Like as if I just sniffed a baby powder. Haha! Blind buying is so dangerous. The dry down smells masculine on my skin. Like the scent of the deodorized armpit of my brother after sweating. I know it sounds weird but that's how I can describe it and compare it to. For me, l'agent is unisex.

I have tried this and L’Agent (I think is what the Agent Provocateur one is called), I do not think they smell alike; I didn’t like L’Agent at all.
