Amouage, Memoir Woman - Review

I almost screamed when I saw this pop up on my feed. I just tried this for the first time a couple of days ago and fell in love immediately. I haven't tried many Amouage but I'm so intrigued especially after trying Memoire Woman. Great review!

Nice review, Pep. I've worn it a couple times and i feel the same way. I enjoyed it , but it doesn't quite get deeper and deeper with its development the same way that other Amouage offerings do on my skin. Beautiful, but not full bottle worthy for me

I want to start sampling the Amouage Woman line. Memoir Man is my favorite Amouage of the few I've tried, so Memoir Woman sounds like a good place to start. Thanks for the review.

So nice to see a review of Amouage Memoir Woman. This is one I reach for in bitter cold weather. I purchased it when Memoir W was first launched, so the fragrance is a really rich and deep plummy leather/incense on me.

Thanks for reviewing this one. I own three Amouage fragrances but have yet to sample Memoir. They're all good quality but I'm about 50/50 in terms of liking the actual scents.

Sorry,I haven't tested the Epic 56, if it's similar to Epic original then I would go for Memoir as something darker.

For me, Memoir Woman is both addictive and slightly repulsive. The animalic notes come through loud and clear to me, and that's a bit of a turn off. But it develops into something truly wonderful...a dark, mysterious , plump rose ensconced in a cloud of incense wafting through an old church. The skank never truly fades away completely, although, it does become somewhat tamed. It's a chypre, for sure, but it's an elevated, almost regal chypre.

How do you feel the Amouage 'women's' line (ugh, marketing) compares to its 'male' line, generally? You seem to be vibing with the former more these days. Nice review!

I like dark spicy scents and I've been curious about this one but cautious of the white florals. Do you find it to be indolic?
