Thank you Thomas, You are by far the best reviewer on You Tube. Your distinctive way of describing the perfume and breaking it down is astounding. I know exactly what I may or may not be interested in purchasing after watching your videos. By the way, I was not supposed to get into amouages cuz once I start, it won't stop on just one fragrance. Well, I bought Lyric woman and planning on buying more. (nervous laughter)😅

Your analyses of fragrance notes are very detailed and technical, yet in a way that is totally relatable..and you make a lot of comparisons between the notes and the degree of their presence..something I find absent in most other youtube fragrance reviewers' reviews. Hello. I've just tested opus V in the amouage counter few days ago. Left hand I tried memoir woman, right hand I tried opus v. Somehow I kind of like opus v more. Very light oud and very interesting smell on my skin.

They have some great ones. My fave is opus 9. Red bottle. Best Amouage ever!

I think I've sampled this one. I'm not sure. Going through a bunch of the dior privee's I got from Mr Oz here on You Tube. The Vetiver is very nice.

It’s hard to imagine iris and oud working out, but if it can be done, Amouage can do it. So, about the dry woods note that is listed, is that apparent? If so, what kind of wood(s) is it?

Hello! Amouage? Hmmm ya see, most of their line are orientals. They are very opulent and rich BUT they do have some lovely ones that would work in hot weather. Opus 1. But only a few light sprays. It's a Ylang and cardamom one. Lyric woman is a gorgeous powdery rose that isn't too heavy. Also Reflection woman and Ciel are their lighter ones. Orientals though are more opulent and rich, it's all about how much you spray. :)
