Built up contrac all in unit rates plain cast in situ concrete in ratio of 1:3:6 with 20mm aggregates in a foundation by hand mixing given the information below, density of cement and sand and aggregates are 1400kg/m³,1500kg/m³ and 1600 kg/m³ respectively, labour for hand mixing per m³,5 hrs. Transport ,placing and compaction per m³ 2.5 hours. labo hourly 2000shs per hour.wastage 5%.contingency 5%.profits and over heads 25%.Cement 30000shs per bag.Unloading cement 500shs per bag.sand 80000shs per tonne.Aggregates 250000shs per tonne.shrinkage 40%.All materials are as per delivery to site.

Great job Sis, The Volume of sand as calculated at 0.3888*4/5 should be equal to 0.311104. Please reconfirm this. Well done. More knowkedge

0.3888 should not be used since it's the density of cement not mortar. Instead use 1.944

Nice content esp one about fillings joints and depressions Secondly on finding dry volume But i think to find wall area we first calculate the girth then multiply by height I think it was incomplete,you didn't proceed to find the cost in either m2 or the whole area 100m2 What about labour ,profit For water we all know its costed in the prelims Anyway i like you videos good job

This video was about material cost alone.Not unit rate.In unit rate,thats where we consider labour costs and overhead and profit.Here we wanted just to know the material cost of an area of say 100m2
