I had Aaron do the suspension on my 22 Xtrainer and I could not believe the difference. I attribute this to the time he took visiting with me to get to know the style of riding I do, it was set up perfectly and I never had to change a clicker on it in the next 100 hours. I ended up doing his own valving which has been more than satisfactory for me as I have developed more confidence and gotten faster. Since then, I have had him do my 300 RR suspension, and it was set up perfectly when I got it back. As I spoke with Aaron, I could tell this wasn't just a job for him, he loves what he does and it shows in the quality of his work.

Thanks for sharing your story and experiences. Sounds like it's where you need it to be right now. Did you consider getting KYB forks built for the XT, or is that not what you wanted/they were too expensive compared to the staged work you had done my AMP? I've had ORVS done to mine and it's certainly better, but I'd like more. I'm in Europe and there is no AMP here and sending to the Staes/import taxes back again skew the costs here for the same thing, but I am tempted by £1,200 KYB forks that can be resold as and when I'm done with XT's. I'm just curious how much of a deal they are above what you got done and paid Welcome any insights as I'm thinking you must have considered this. And yes, your riding has come on leaps and bounds 👍👍👍. Nice to see it grow in the area you wanted it to.

I consider different setups but at the end of the day where I’m focus on riding is more technical enduro/hard enduro riding so that’s why I went with the k tech and amp revalve and setup and cost! I wanted a plush ride still and the orvs is already plush just needed that bottom resistance and better valve for range in the clickers!! If I was gonna race fast cross country and that’s it maybe I would have considered a different setup but the setup I have now works greats for my type of riding and honestly was the xt is ment for!! If I wanna do different type of riding I will consider a different bike! It’s like right tool for the right job you know what I mean and thank you yes I have grown a lot in the last yr as a rider!! Always focusing on the basic as rich Larsen thought me recently.. he said if you can’t master the techniques on flat ground, then you shouldn’t be riding out in the trail. Master it there first 🤙🏻

The rocks there are rounded off and you barely have loam and roots there. Texas is smooth compared to around here.

@@davidbeauvais1364 not at all we have rocks of all kinds. Roots ect ect.. Texas has every type of terrain, depending where you are in the state.
