Excellent intrinsic tone.

Turn the master up and use the gain as your volume control set everything else flat - it kicks ass! Also, the red light flashing means nothing (clipping on a tube amp is good) but harder edge sound it is not hurting or doing anything wrong except making it sound more maybe heavy-metal. That's why I wouldn't use any other amp even for practicing because nothing else compares!

I typically crank the gain up to near max and set the volume accordingly, with the hi/low/bright switches turned on, has a lot of the drive that I love(great for Primus/Claypool slap tones)I hate a flat bass tone.

With the peak light flashing is the sweet spot for the pro series. It's not clipping.

There's some sort of high pitched electrical noise present when you play, which sounds like it's gated. Ground loop maybe? You've had this video out for a few years. Tone is really great though.

Ciao Fabio, mi fa piacere che i video ti piacciano. Bhè che dire la SVT-2 PRO è bellissima, come suono sicuramente un pochino meglio, ma non così tanto. Il difetto più grosso è che è gigante e pesa 35/40kg, e ovviamente è anche un pochino più fragile della PF-500 per via delle valvole, e ovviamente costa molto di più...non sò bene il prezzo ma minino 3 volte tanto della PF-500.

@@AlgaBass grazie Francesco, ho la possibilità di due ottimi usati, una SVT CL o la SVT2 Pro. Sono molto indeciso, entrambe le teste sono in condizioni eccellenti, manutentate e conosco entrambi i proprietari. Il peso mi spaventa mi preoccupa poco perché le sposterei poco, e terrei comunque la PF500 per la portabilità. Hai possibilità in futuro di caricare un video con SVT CL con la 4x10 hlf? Grazie.
