I live in a village in South 24 Parganas. What we have seen and experienced that day between 6.30 PM and 9.30 PM is beyond explanation. No one alive could recall seeing nature in such furious form before this day.

Thanks for sharing your experience of Amphan. I can understand how intense the cyclone must have been in South 24 Parganas. Best.

Intensity of that cyclone was much higher in kolkata than shown here that is in kalyani. That was very devastating one
@GolamMHossain2 жыл бұрын
That's for sure. Kolkata had faced relatively more devastating form. Best.

Thanks for sharing the video Golam Bhai. Fearful and horrific. What was the wind speed during the landfall at 1915 hrs ?
@GolamMHossain2 жыл бұрын
I don't remember exactly but it was around 120+ km per hour at landfall. Best.

@@GolamMHossain . Even 60 kmph looks dangerous. Can't even imagine 120.
@basicallybac Жыл бұрын
The highest wind of cyclone amphan was 160 mph. It was a Category 5 Cyclone, the highest possible cyclone out of all.

Sir you should have edited the video such that the emphasis was on events just before entering the eye, while it was in the eye and right after exiting the eye. But anyways good visuals throughout. You had a nice vantage point!
