Also, makes sense Marcy's story, even if the superficially happiest, is the one with the Lovecraftian twist. She meddled with forces she didn't fully understand in the name of her own desires. Well, her wishes came true. But the price had to be payed. Those who begin with everything, are meant to end with nothing if they lack understanding and humility. Marcy should know this. The heroes of her stories surely started with nothing as well, given her favorite trope is the "Family found". Not to mention, that's the lesson her Temple tried to teach her.
