Another good review! Would be cool if you did a comparison of the Amplid boards and say something about which situations you would pick each one for.

That would be fun; I don't know if I've been on enough of their boards to do a good job of that!

Nice on spot review. Although I think carving is where this board is really really stand out. I got this board last season and its perfect for me, as a guy that get 20 days per season, if I am lucky, this is exactly what I need. Good in offpiste, holds the edge perfectly in carving, stable, nice resort board.

Hello! I’m 1.80 80-85kg and boot 11us. I really like the 2025 singular but I don’t like heel or toe drag. Should I go 158 or 162? Thank you !!!

Did you like this or the Korua Otto better?

Haven't tried the Otto sadly.

Lovin the content. New subscriber here. That board looks slick. I have a gremlin 155. Im looking for a smaller ride. Maybe i shall look at this one. How do they compare?
@Drift-Products9 ай бұрын
Depends on what you want. The gremlin is sort of a powder/carver. This is a really well rounded all mountain board. If you want a board to do it all, this one is one of the best.

Dope channel. How’s the Yes Great Uninc in the back ride? Would you recommend the Standard or PYL over the Great?
@Drift-Products7 ай бұрын
Thanks! I love the greats, just depends on whether you want a twin or not. The Standard Uninc is my favorite Yes board. It’s the most versatile compared to the greats and the PYL. But if you want a twin, go greats. If you want pow and freeride, go PYL. Standard Uninc does a bit of both.

Have you done a review of the greats? Looking for a new board for next season to complement my aeronaut
@Drift-Products10 ай бұрын
I love the Greats and have owned multiple but haven’t reviewed it yet for some reason. If you’re after a freestyle twin, it’s a gem.

Great! Review! if u have to choose between this one or Jones Aviator?
@Drift-Products10 ай бұрын
The Aviator is stiffer and more aggressive with the full camber. That would be the main consideration. I like the Aviator more for what it is (the best board I've ever ridden for crappy snow), but the Singular is probably a touch more versatile.

@@Drift-Products I'm tossing up between the same two boards for next year. is the level of stiffness/ aggressiveness night and day between the two or is it more a small incremental jump?
@Drift-Products4 ай бұрын
@@alanrowan7863 it’s not a huge difference. The Singular is just a touch more mellow. And the rocker in the singular makes it feel more mellow than if it were full camber.

I’m considering this or the Nitro Alternator to complement my Jones Aviator 2.0.), to have something that has more float in low angle pow (mostly in the trees) but also can carve well between pow runs. Which one do you think would be the best pick?
@Drift-Products9 ай бұрын
Probably the Nitro but if I were you I’d go with something more different… like the K2 excavator or the Surfari. Unless you’re worried about still riding switch.
@sventbengtsson9 ай бұрын
@@Drift-Products Ok, thanks for the input. I got a Nitro Squash as well if I want to get more surf style in deeper pow but I want something more versatile and can get the singular and Alternator at a fair price.
@Drift-Products9 ай бұрын
Either way then. They're both fun. The Alternator is more aggressive and a bit stiffer.

Am trying to decide between this and the Souly Grail. My weight at 190lbs, 6ft, size 9 uk boots...Amplid put me on the 162 in terms of weight, would i be better off on the 158 for boot size as i still make that weight range, just near the top of it!! Cheers

I’di think you’d be fine either way, probably 158.

I’m 6’1 and wear a size 11.5/12 boot. Do you think the 162cm board would be wide enough for that size of boot?
@Drift-Products4 ай бұрын
It's not great, but it's fine. I rode it in the 162 with a 11.5 boot and didn't mind it but I would love a wide version.

I am interested in one but cant decide on the size, either 158 or 162. I am 181cm, 78-80kg but my feet are 11.5, so I was thinking more 162 than 158. What do you recon? Oh, and I mostly blast down the slopes. But when there is POW I usually spend all day on it :D
@Drift-Products2 ай бұрын
You could go either way. If you like to go fast and ride pow, I'd go 162.
