I really like this one. With headphones and a USB cable it talks nicely to apps on my phone and after creating a couple of very basic presets they sound great for practice for me.

Are you only limited to the presets and manipulating those or can you use the functionality like the original where you can simply pick an amp and pick an effect and mix and match while you are just sitting there without using an app?

This is designed for guitar but is absolutely fine to use with a bass.

Yes, you can disconnect the Bluetooth by either unpairing the Mustang Micro or from the external Bluetooth device. Hope this helps.

It's an improvement for sure. More amps and effects means more options, so creating your preferred sound is easier.

Not an option for everyone as it was discontinued. Hopefully this fender release will force Boss to hurry up and get a new Katana Go out there. I quite like the stomp box like interface on the Mustang but fine tuning parameters looks fiddly. More importantly for the short time the original Katana Go was out the demos sounded much better in terms of the clean sounds
