I'm running SKAR Audio. 2 EVL 12's in a 4th Order. 2:1 They're D2'S..Wired Series Parallel to 2ohm. RP2k.1 Powering the subs. Kicker 125×2 running the mids. 2 kicker 6.5. And 2 pioneer 6.5. Optima YellowTop under the hood. High Output Altenator. Extra battery in the back floorboard. My little system is not too shabby. And I built it all myself. Which is satisfying. Virtually zero Bassheads in this town. I will be upgrading my setup soon. Just cant decide what to get. May switch to Soundqubed everything. Or FI Audio.

I've been living in Colorado the last year. If you want to quit bassing just cuz other bassheads are hating then you're not a real bass head. I dont give a fuck what other bass heads think. I dont even hang out with them. You dont need bass head friends to love bass. I usually just drive alone anyways on my way to work and back and running errands. Similar thing happened to me, had 2 amps, one of the knobs stopped working, had to get an RCA knob to fix the problem. I prefer it anyway, the knob only went from 1/4 to full, and due to me running stock for the mids and highs even 1/4 was too loud often. Love these feel good videos!

Man one thing I would do for sure is an amp rack for that amp having it mounted to the subwoofer box is not a good idea I've been running DD amps for years and never had an issue with the phone cord but I always have them mounted on rack and I do agree it is not the best connection

Exo...I know this is an older video, I'm subbed. Went to take a ride in my system truck and nothing worked. Base knob was lit up, but ampmwas in protect mode. I unplugged it, took it in the house, took it apart, the circuit board had some junk on it and a little super tiny ball of solder that was bridging some paths on the board. I cleaned the junk off with rubbing alcohol and knocked the ball of solder off with my fingernail. Plugged it back up, like brand new haha. Just though I'd post this fix on your base knob video ! Later

Actually having this same issue atm. My AT2300.1d is randomly going into protect. Looked over all my connections and decided to wiggle my remote bass knob connection and boom, back in business. When i googled the issue, this is the first thing that poppped up. At least now i know i am not the only one.

EAST 1 that’s a big box but mine was 10 cube. I know, too much, but it still got down pretty good for a Platform 1 18 from PSI on a BC 2k. I tuned my box for 28 hz because I like the lows but you can do the tuning to what music you listen to.

EAST 1 I guess the tune can be open as long as it’s not too far from the drivers parameters. Personally I like mid 30s my box is tuned to 33hz I can play 18 to mid 50s violently it rolls off after 50hz. Sound is still there but not as hard hitting at the same volume. What kind of amp are you running

I had similar problem . What i didn’t know was that certain bass knobs will not work with certain amps. I used a skar bass knob with a hifonics amp and it’s consistently clipped my subs even with a 0 volume. As son as i unplugged the knob .... amp worked great

Yeah, you cant interchange knobs from brand to brand. Only RCA line level knobs can be interchanged,

I need some mega bass. I started with 2, 600 watt subs ran in parallel that I got from my boss, it had a cheap compositor on it that I could get to work so I ditched that and went straight to the amp and it was great till I blew the right speaker and unhooked it ran the left till that blew. That was a mdx sledge hammer with I believe a legend 450 watt amp. My last sub was a scar 10” 1000 amp sub I bought used and it came with a brand new scar audio 1200 watt amp. I ran that for a while with the sketchy wires running out of the vent port for a while but I think I wired it backwards because it’s makes a very distinct pop that I haven’t heard before. To end this long story I’m currently running a 1600 watt scar audio 10”sub same box as the 1000 watt and the same 1200 watt amp and so far it sounds amazing. If you have any tips I’m all ears
