Yes IK, please make a floor Amplitube 5 or 6 with a very big touch screen and fast processor. I'm sick of setting up my laptop with the iRig HD 2 with all the cables. The Amplitube 5 sounds and feels better than the Tonex, but Tonex is awesome sounding too.

@@tracyharrell180 I couldn't download the IK Product Manager for 2 1/2 yrs. on my older laptop with Windows 10 6th gen Intel i7. Now I just got a 2023 laptop Windows 11 13th gen Intel and could finally download the IK Product Manager and latest ASIO Driver for Windows PC. It works great but I think you have to be online all the time or not, I'm not sure. I'm using the free Amplitube 5 and the Jimi Hendrix collection that I paid for, using the IK iRig HD2 as the guitar interface through my tube amp. Sounds absolutely amazing! As good as the Line 6 Helix Native plugin.

Now got it to work it sounds very impressive with Irig HD2. The 5150 settings are perfect for chunking out heavy rock riffs. The two free bass cabs are good as well. The software is much easier and quicker to run than pod Farm. Works well with abbleton 10 and Asio drivers.

I had left Amplitube aside (not stable enough at the time on my PC and with my sound card) but there, I just received it, installed and played with Amplitube 5 Max ... WOAAAHHH its sounds so good !! ! The guys from IK Multimedia have taken a huge step forward !! I leave my Helix aside. I have this feeling of playing on real tube amps with fantastic dynamics to go from clean to crunch! I who am a fan of Satriani I am overwhelmed the presets made by Joe are fabulous ... impossible to have this sound on Helix! Thanks guys from IK ... definitely addicted 😍

Seriously, guys, Amplitube 5 is the best thing that I have ever seen, just make a multi-effect pedalboard, I know it can be done with an audio interface but I hate to have multiple parts that may fail individually, make it in one package, you are far ahead of other competitors with this release, I really didn't like version 4, but you seriously blast my expectations with this release, I have a multi-effect and I can't stand its sound after trying this release. please make a multi-effect pedalboard or rackmount processor.

So if I change one speaker on a 4x12 will the VIR impluse response capture the bleed from the other speaker I swapped out? I'd imagine you'd have to capture the bleed with every speaker combination on every cabinet, but I don't think IK went that far.

Hi, if you want the new features/functionality and the new gear in AmpliTube 5 you would want to upgrade to AmpliTube 5. If you don't have the collections that have come out since AmpliTube 4 MAX and want those too, you can upgrade to AmpliTube 5 MAX. AmpliTube 5 is a completely new engine and installation so you wouldn't run AmpliTube 4 inside that, you'd want to keep your AmpliTube 4 installed if you feel you might use it.

What section of the program is the part where it shows a cross section of the speaker? I have also been having trouble when I load a song from iTunes and I have all my amp and pedal setting set the song I imported sounds away too loud, blasting and I cannot get my guitar tone to match it to play along?

You click the VIR Tech button inside the cab section for that. Please make sure AmpliTube is not enabled on the track you are importing. You can also pull down the fader on the track on which you imported your song to lower the level. Can't wait to try 5 out, love AT4. One feature I was hoping to see was 'scenes'. I think Helix and Axe-fx have them and they always looked useful. In a preset if you have the amp with some settings and you want to switch to slightly different setting and maybe switch on a couple of stomps in one switch, you can create a scene in the same preset. I think the advantage of this was to stop delay/pops that can happen if you have to switch patches? I see 1-8 buttons in AT5 but it looks like they are for the recorder tracks rather then scenes maybe? Have to sat though, AT5 looks amazing.

Looking on their website, amplitube 5 max includes all the packs you have mentioned. Therefore you would likely only need the standard version. They have 3 different versions on the website, each with a list of what they include.

I have A4 Custom with a lot of additional amps and pedals, and it's been great. My problem though has been there were always good presets for which I did not have the requisite gear. So, my thinking this time is to buy the Max edition. Will I get any discount for my existing licenses?

If you have AmpliTube 4 MAX but don't have the seven collections released since AmpliTube 4 MAX, you'd want to upgrade to AmpliTube 5 MAX as it includes all of those plus all of the new AmpliTube 5 gear. If you have those, you can use AmpliTube 5 or AmpliTube 5 SE as your current gear will run in AmpliTube 5 and take advantage of all the new features. AmpliTube 5 is a separate installation. This is so your current/previous projects don't suddenly sound different when you open them. You'll be able to import your AmpliTube 4 presets and audition everything and be in control of the sound of your projects.

If you have all the gear up until now, you would be able to upgrade for a superb deal. You would want to upgrade to AmpliTube 5 and you can use all of your existing gear there with access to all of the great new features, engine, and all.

Hi people at IK Multimedia. I bought the MAX version. First I have to say it is a great step forwards after AT4. It sounds huge in every way. But I am a little bit disappointed :-( I think there is no ping pong delay in this version. Or am I missing something? Hope you will react. Ping pong would be great in stereo presets. Now I have to add it as a plugin in my DAW.

Hello, I bought Amplitude 4 Max not long ago. I understand that my Max 4 gear will work in Amplitude 5, however, will my existing amps, cabinets, etc have the benefits of Amplitude 5 as far sound is concerned? Or will it be the Amplitude 4 technology but accessed via new Amplitude 5 interface?

Does Amplitube 5 version have new gear or only 5 Max? I have amplitube 4 Max and I wonder if it makes sense to upgrade to 5 (not Max!) or just take the free version?

AmpliTube 5 would still get you new AmpliTube 5 gear. And of course all of the great new features and amazing VIR™ technology etc. You would not have the collections that came out since AmpliTube 4 MAX was released unless you purchased them separately but all of your existing gear will work inside AmpliTube 5 and you don't have to "re-buy" anything.
