can you use this app without iRig? because i have an adapter that allows me to plug my guitar into my ipod but no sound comes out. Is there a certain setting it needs to be at to be able to hear it? or do i have to get an iRig? I really don't want to spend $30-$40 on an iRig. Is there a cheaper / alternative way to do it or make it work?

wait how would you connect the irig to an amp instead of some headphones since one of the plug is for the guitar while the other output is too small for a cord to hook up to the amp, or do you have to have some kind of special plug for it to hook on the head phone side

@rotren Ok, you can upload MP3s to jam along with, but you can’t access iTunes directly. Also, you can’t slow the songs down in the player, but you can loop a phrase to drill your skills.

@garljr you can get a special adapter from any electrical shop...if you have a 2 way headphone jack to jack wire you can get an adapter guitar jack that the headphone cable plugs into so one end plugs into your headphone input and one plugs into your guitar input

Hey im having trouble with my iphone (3) since the audio is intercepted by the voice speaking and it doesn't sound the guitar, only my voice . How can i turn off the audio voice so it doen't interrupt my sound guitar?

Is it neccessary to use the iRig connector cause, i have a jack thing that connects to a jack like the earphones jack, its hard to explain.

yes, or if you have computer speakers you can use the cable that should be provided with those speakers, as for an amp, you will need a 1/8 to 1/4 lead adaptor

It's a really cool demo thanks, i use this program with pro tools! Funny how technology allows for this kind of stuff..i will say however, having the real deal in front of you ...(listening as i write , i love your playing style!)...is always gona sound better! ;) All the best!

thing sounds real good, you may wish too keep this it might be your best tone. You are a tone expert , yeah you said pretty cool. Yeahyou said you would use it again. I had heard of it as software and it sounded great. I use line 6 stuff have 2 pod pros .I think this sounded more like a real amp . Then again I think the pod pro sounds better than the pod pro XT LOL
