This rocket is very nice Can you list the details of rocket moter height ,diameter
@AerospaceRocketry Жыл бұрын
It stands a little more than 12 feet. Diameter is 6.5”. It was flown to over 6000 feet on an Aerotech M1939 w. Took me roughly 4 months to build from scratch. Had duel electronic altimeters on board and 2 cameras.

How far was the launch site from the recovery site?
@AerospaceRocketry Жыл бұрын
Probably only 1/4 mile. Used drogue and main. It was perfect.

This was absolutely awesome!! Just curious, why did you have your nosecone come down on a separate chute?
@AerospaceRocketry Жыл бұрын
The nose cone has its own chute and the deployment bag for the main chute is attached to the nose cone. This way there is less chance of the nose cone getting tangled but also the cone chute pulls the deployment bag out and when the main part of the rocket falls away your are sure the main will deploy nicely from the deployment bag.

@@AerospaceRocketry How many people and how much time did it take to build the AMRAAM of the video ?
@AerospaceRocketry Жыл бұрын
I built most of it myself with a little help from my son. Took months a few hours a day.
At 4:10, the shots of the crew members gathering for a team photograph was epic!!!, I mean the resolution from the camera mounted on the rocket brought tears to my eyes NOT!!!
