Amrep Garbage Trucks Collecting Broken Trash Cans

A little video I made of 076, 793, and 073/863/835/811 collecting all of the drivers' least favorite carts in my area.

Very cool video! Some of these carts were really beat up! I liked how the drivers turned the cart to the side and picked it up that way so the grippers wouldn't get stuck inside. Great job!

there are so many broken recycling carts because the last time they did a rollout was back in 1997... when they first introduced recycling carts in my area. They did a green and black rollout in '09

Excellent Video! No surprise at 0:45. LOL. It's unfortunate to see so many broken oTTos. The weird thing is why are there so many broken recycling carts? I never see any broken carts for trash nor greens.

there really are only like 7 broken cans in my neighborhood at the moment. The ottos at 0:51 and 1:12 are the same cart, the ottos from 1:26 to 3:08 are all the same cart, and the rehrigs from 3:54 to 5:14 are all the same cart.

haha that first clip was taken well over a year ago... so that otto's gone now you know it's funny, that driver drops brand new carts in on accident incessantly, but I've never seen one of these broken ones go in. and every time he drops one in it's always on his last street and he never manually packs and he always has to come back just for that street cause his truck "fills up" yeah the clips in this video that haven't been used before I've been saving up since June I believe. Thank you!

a lot of residents just don't care about their trash carts. I think they should do a rollout too, especially since they can replace half of them for free, but apparently their are so many new carts they don't think it's worth it to replace all of them. That's BS though, literally 60% of the carts in my area are over 6 years old...

well its safe to say that first otto isnt going to see much more use.. lol you should tell your driver to do what most of the other guys do.. throw broken carts in the hopper as they break. Makes for some good manual packing clips as well lol Awesome video, its something that I have considered doing as well but dont have the time or enough footage to do so. Yours turned out great
