Never realized that she is such a strong, balanced and independent thinking person. Not once has she blamed Saif or the fact that he wasn't paying the bills for upbringing his two children! The host did her best to instigate a negative comment from Amrita, which never came. Kudos to her for that!!

I have seen and enjoyed many Bollywood star's interviews. But this one with Amrita Singh was the most honest, forthright and real, no sugar-coating or white-washing the issues. She expressed as it was. She truly is one of the most gutsy ladies in Bollywood. She didn't push any answers under the carpet. One of the most brilliant actors in Bollywood who essays characters with so much of depth, she'll jolt you out of your stupor: Two of her recent releases : Two States and Badla are cases in point. During the interview she was categorical when she said: "I will never marry again, I don't want to be incumbent on any man to put food on my table. My divorce was not such a serious issue, but my mother's death was the most painful I have ever experienced". Today, its her work and her children [both budding actors], who prioritize her life.
