Hi, there's also a possibility that Babita ji didn't want to make the same mistake she did. She married when she was at the peak with Randhir ji who was starting out. As a mother she would want a stable home for her daughter. With Abhishek it was the same thing. He was starting out and Karishma was established. She wasn't being money minded but was looking out for her daughter. What happened with Sunjay and Karishma is unfortunate but who would have thought this way. Maybe she tried to make it work and had bid adieu to films, but destiny had other plans. We're never in a position to comment from far. How a mother would ever want her daughter goes through the same! Even in Bachchan family the women of the home do not work in movie industry. Jaya Bachchan had to leave her career and Aishwarya too. Babita could see the future of Karishma. Destroying the career of the successful women and then make them live a life that is less than ordinary is the habit of both kapoor and bachchan family. Neetu kapoor, Babita kapoor, Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya...all have same story. Just see how Amitabh Bachchan gives the luxurious villa to his daughters just when he realises his flop son is having affair with other women. The cheapest mentality of Bachchan family is clearly visible! Atleast after the divorce Karishma got her share of property but if it would happen with Bachchan family, Karishma could have been seen with a penny in her hand only
