its funny to see how people are commenting on this issue. sikhs are minorities and just like every minorities in a non democratic county ( i don't see India as a democratic country)they will feel unheard. so it is understandable with also looking at the history for example 1984 that they want to have their own place. I personally (this is just my opinion) don't think that having Khalistan is good. with Punjab being broken right now. there is also another problem. all Indians (hindu sikh etc) have an hero complex. I still don't understand why everybody need someone to get some motivation from. sikhs who want Khalistan for a very long time are now motivated by this hero amritpal and the hindus who don't want democracy but want India to become an extremist country have a hero called modi. do sikhs deserve their own country with modi as pm of India yes they do. is amritpal the right person to lead them I don't think so.

India was formed in 47 , and Punjab was country before under sikh raaj, and there are countries are being formed now and then , so India is not the final destination , get out of that mindset , if someone is not causing any violence he has a right for self determination as per consitution and also as per UNO law , but this blind so called nationalism has destroyed people’s mind .
